Is The WO-S Coaching Staff Up Tight About Tonight

ALL you do is complain about play calling. I guess we should all come to baseball games and complain about your umpiring! -
Is The WO-S Coaching Staff Up Tight About Tonight

Stowers: "We lost four hard-working, experienced coaches in the off-season and that makes a difference." Is it just me or did Stowers just throw his current coaches under the bus?
-
Back to the original question, this is NO BIG DEAL! WO-S simply runs to the middle, a couple of kids jump on the pile and then they leave. Some posters act like they are kicking up the grass and destroying the logo and tearing up the field while mocking the other school. Anybody that knows anything about the WO-S program knows that the coaches would not allow that AND that the players at WO-S are some of the most respectful young men you will ever meet and they would not do this to disrespect another school.

If Silsbee doesnt make the playoffs........

Kicker- you must of missed Gilmer. They are LOADED! I watched them hang 71 on Tatum a few weeks back. They are huge up front and very athletic at the skill positions. The rb has already committed to OU and the qb is a sophomore that is about 6'3" 195lbs. He is very mobile and throws the ball well. -
How many more games will lumberton win?

Wins-Vidor, PNG, Ozen, Dayton Loses-Nederland, Central, LCM District Record 4-3. District Finish 4th. -
k-villeballa- Jasper has a very physical defense and probably would beat you guys this year. I'm sure Carthage would spank you guys as well. We have alot of folks hurt, but heart plays a big role in football. As far as I'm concern, WO-S won't pull nothing out but those buses once we make an example.

**Bay City 15 WO-S 12 FINAL/COMMENTS**
40under replied to KFDM COOP's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Also, I'm pretty sure the reverse was NOT on the goal line, and is NOT the thing that sank us. Four concurrent plays from the Giddings one yard line were the cause of the outrage. We had a 6'5 QB, but threw two passes and a pitch before finally running a sneak (from shotgun on fourth). I know that if the passes were caught, it would have looked really fancy and flashy. Personally (and I'm not qualified to call plays), I would have run the sneak with our freight train QB four times from a yard out. If it didn't work, kudos to a monster D. -
WO-S fails to take advantage of talent..OL Article

So true. Dan could care a less what anybody on a message board or Gabe at the Orange Leader has to say about his program. -
WO-S fails to take advantage of talent..OL Article

The WO-S so-called "faithful" make me sick. You sit here and hammer a man on a public forum and hide behind a screen name. Or you go home after a game and think about something that "may" have worked and then a couple of days after the fact you decide to write something up and publish it in the local paper. I can't believe the OL would publish this garbage. This is HIGH SCHOOL football where 15-18 year kids are playing, not College or Pro. You hammer a man that has devoted everything he has to that program. A man that truely cares for the kids at WO-S. Since he has been there, WO-S has won 80% of the games he has coached and you say that is not good enough. Like other people have said, go get your degree and become a coach and take his position. Now consider that you must leave your house around 6:30 every morning, teach class all day and then coach football and not get home until around 9:30 every night 7 days a week, all for not alot of money. It is really easy for you to sit there in the bleachers and watch a game and call plays after the fact. You want to blame a man for "destroying" a program, I think it is YOU that is destroying a program! The players get on these boards and read this stuff, and what do you think that does for their confidence in their coach when all you "adults" do is bang on this guy? The one thing I hope the WO-S players don't do is let outside forces tear down what they have worked so hard for! I coached at WO-S from 1998-2005 with Coach Hooks, Coach T, both Coach Foremans, Coach Crouch, Coach Dyer, Coach Ragsdale and several others and they are ALL dedicated to doing what is best for the students at WO-S. I've seen first hand the extra things these coaches do to make sure the kids at WO-S have every opportunity to succeed not only in athletics but in life in general and I think WO-S is extremely fortunate to have all these men representing them. My son plays indoor at BlueSky Sports Center in Keller. There is one in Keller and one in The Colony here in the MetroPlex. There are also other indoor facilities in Southlake, Arlington, Dallas, Euless and Mesquite. These facilities are unreal and make a ton of money. They have leagues from U5-U18 in boys and girls and then start with mens, womens and co-ed in all ages from beginner to advanced. They stay extremely busy. Monday-Friday they start at 4:30 pm and the last game begins at I believe 11:15 pm. They play 2 20 minutes halfs with a 2 minute half-time and 3 minutes in between games. If you are not ready they start the clock and you just lose playing time. On Saturday and Sunday they begin at 7:30 am and the last game starts at 11:15 pm. They play ALL day and NEVER run behind. They are very well organized. They run 4 seasons, Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer and are always booked for every season in every division. They charge $650 per team which gets each team 8 regular season games plus play-offs. They also have a Karate room, basketball court and workout room along with the main soccer field and the small soccer field for the younger players. They have a concession stand and a retail shop. If someone in the Golden Triangle would open one up they would make a ton of money. Think of the development that the players in the triangle would get if they had a year round indoor facility to train at.

Thursday (9/6) Week 1 Scores Statewide
40under replied to WOS87's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Coop- I was at the Gilmer/Tatum game and Gilmer is GOOD! No way they are only #5 in the state, the 4 ahead of them must be loaded! I have never seen a 3A team as big and fast as Gilmer. -
Who do you think will be 21-3a Champs for 07?
40under replied to ItsMeSnitches's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Seriously, LET IT GO! Everybody knows you are unhappy about Toby being gone but how about you have a little confidence in the coaches and players that are at WO-S. You are an embarrassment to the WO-S. If you don't like what is happening at WO-S go support somebody else. -

Are you talking about Pierce? If so, I heard he is going back to WO-S. -
That 2000 WO-S team went 15-1 losing only in the State Championship.
