  1. Ozen (They have already played their toughest games, and are looking better & better each and every week) Central (Talent and speed can keep any team in a 4 team playoff race, Central is easily the fastest team in the district) PNG (plays every game like it's their last. expect them in the playoffs) Nederland (Playoff History Enough Said....)
  2. The Ozen Panthers will turn out to be the best 0-2 team out there. They started the season off with too tough non-district games which will have them poised for a good district run...
  3. Great game friday night, i look for ozen to get back on a winning path this week with a win over Worthing.. Two tough non-district games that have really made the team alot better. Memorial Coach Ronnie Thompson said it himself, the team they played Sat. was a much better team that played in week 0 against West Brook.
  4. Seems like Lamar is gonna do everything it can to keep local talent where it belongs.. Great Hire Woodard
  5. There should be an age limit on some of these things.. Im not understanding absolutely anything you are rambling about, Ozen didnt stop anything even if the ball wasnt a turnover... :-\ :-\ What?? WB will hard time crossing that end zone line :-\ ??? Huhhhh
  6. I see now that you dont have to know the game to make comments on this forum... It doesnt matter who you have on your defense or how good your defense is, if you give an offense like WB and the #1 RB in the STATE of Texas that many opportunities hell if you have Ray Lewis on defense they will find a way to score. If you were at the game you would have seen that OZEN's offense gave WB the ball 8 times on turnovers and at no level in the history of the game has a team been successful when you give the other teams offense the ball that many times and keep your defense on the field for 85-90% of the time. Ozen will be alright as long as they can move the chains on offense...
  7. I'll say this about Ozen, they gave West Brooks offense too many opportunities thats why they lost that game.. Any time you give a team with so many weapons that many turnovers they're bound to put up points.. Ozen wil bounce back and prove something against 5A Memorial
  8. I agree with the predictions, Ozen will surprise alot of folks. They return alot of skill guys and Im sure alot of people will agree with me that if their offense catches up with their defense, teams should look out...
  9. DOH! I dont know what you're talking about! : I know this was started as a West Brook/ Central session but its amazing how WB fans all of a sudden forget the thrashings they took for so many years in a row. You guys should be humble in your victories b/c your time is coming.. TICK TOCK TICK TOCK
  10. You guys sure get alot of inside information, juts by watching other teams practice, adn you must have a sideline seat at practices. Ozenfinest he might have your number b/c you are the Ozen fan but yet he seems to know an awful lot about the Panthers, now wheather or not he knows what he is talking about thats another story.. But hey its making for good forum discussion, next thing we'll hear is that Coach Stump is installing the wishbone just for Ozen
  11. Whats the difference, last years Ozen team wasnt very good.. You go and tell that to WOS who has won 4 straight district titles which include two of the teams you just listed. It's amazing how Cocky West Brook gets when they start winning again, when it was just 3 years ago that they were the whooping board of BMT. Enjoy your success while it last b/c from what I here after this class leaves the talent will DROP over there...
  12. Your right about one thing, the new DC was the O-Line coach last year but he was also the DC at Ozen in 2000 & 2001 when they won the District Championship and beating teams like Brook 42-12 in 2000 and 43-6 in 2001
  13. lol lol lol lol :D :D :D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Laugh if you want but alot of people dont realize how close of game it was last year, if it werent for a few special team mistakes and giving West Brook the ball in scoring territory on two occasions the panthers were in it. West Brook will not take ozen lightly b/c in a rivalry game anything is possible Dude, what are you talking about? When the game finished, Ozen only had a total of 6 yards of offense! Brook was turning the ball over. If not, the score would have gotten ran up. You must be thinking about another year. Have to be! Yeah BMTSoulja, your right about Ozen's offense not being able to capatalize on all those turn overs by Brook, but I tell you what, Brook cant afford to to turn the ball over like that this year b/c from what I've seen in 7 on 7 the Ozen passing game is rolling especially with Willie Jefferson gaining more experience and confidence, and the same Ozen defense that caused all those turnovers is looking to be just as good. 26-6 take away 2 TD's which the Ozen offense basiclly gave Brook and the games 12-6!!
  14. Good Article on A Good Man!!!
  15. West Brook (1st Football, 2nd Baseball) Central (1st Track, 2nd Football) Ozen (1st Basketball, 2nd Football as of lately, 3rd Track) WOS (1st Football, 2nd Track) PA Memorial (Jamal Charles) ;D ;D Jasper (1st Football, 2nd Track b/c of the past) Nederland (Football) BC (Cross Country)
  16. West Brook will not win District but will finish 2nd and will make a good play-off run. Central will finish 2nd and also make a goo play-off run, I say Central 2nd b/c Nederland beat them for the championship. Ozen will get back into the play-offs after a two year absence and possibly make it to the 2nd round round. The new 4 play- off team system will help the Panthers out this year
  17. It's amazing I can remember when this guy was a lanky Freshmen roaming the hallways of Ozen... Looking Good BIG PERK keep up the good work
  18. Yes Central has been consistent this season but it was a 41.68 that they ran at the NederlandTrack meet to start the season off. They struggled some in the middle of the season when they ran a low 42. at the Aldine meet and even a low 42 at the TSU Relays but they have actually broken 41. second a numerous amount times this season and they are looking good going into regionals Good luck to Coach Washington and the guys...
