Tonight I'm looking for coaches to get a chance to see just where they will be as far as handoffs and stars as far as running and kids being able to hit their mak on the jumps... nothing to serious tonite with the weather like it is... its going to be real hard to drop any amazing times, but dont be surprised....

This thread is obviously full of peaople who for the past decade or so have not been to a basketball game... Boutte coaches in 4A and has won more playoff games than most of the these guys mentioned on this thread have won district games.. It's totally bias and until a coach comes in and does half of what Boutte has then he is the man!!!!

Lincoln and then Ozen, no other tean has dominated a District for so many years straight!!

Their strongest event may be the 4x200 but they still wont be able to compete with the speed Central will have on their 4x200.. thats why I think they should be better off concentrating on a strong 4x400, where they could really on their strength and conditioning that Coach Young is famous for...

Dayton I stand corrected, I read the message wrong... Dayton does have a good defense and thats exactly what I mean when I said that defenses win championships... Daytons District Crown came on a blocked kick which makes my argument even stronger.... DEFENSES WIN CHAMPIONSHIPS

I think Central is going to be really tough this year... Derrick Hall is goint to lead a very good crop of sprinters for them.. Ozen will need to try and make up for the sprint relay with a good mile relay, with guys like Labove,Celestine, and Fontenot

Maybe its just me but I think that the offenses in this area are more productive than the defenses... Which could become a problem once our teams go deeper into the playoffs and play outside of the area.

My teams biggest rivalry was and still should be with Nederland, we lost to them four times in two years, twice in 98' regular season and playoffs and twice in 99' reagular season and playoffs again

For as much money as the district is paying to use Cardinal Stadium and the money they spent to make repairs, all they need to do is put bigger sets of bleachers at the field that the yalready have on campus. I mean this makes the most since. The parking lot is huge and the field is a good field. Save some of the rent money and build stands.....

Him not making all district is strange.... Only thing I can say is that he must not have had a good season... Last years season was probably alot better than this year...

Franklin originally signed a LOI with Nebraska coming out of highschool but didnt qualify academically, but now he has his scores up and will be taking a visit to Nebraska over the weekend.. Good !!!!!

Mosley is a power back who was fed the ball the entire season... he was the featured player on his teams offense, so of course he would end up with good numbers but highschool stats to me are over rated. not taking anything away from the kids season but he is no way better than charles and will probably never will be... with that being said they are to entirely different types of backs... and both are good at what they do but you cannot compare teh two

By given an MVP award there isn't a reason to name that player 1st or 2nd team, the MVP award speaks for it's self... With that being said you could also take a look at the 21-3A Selections, where MVP Earl Thomas doesn't recieve a spot on the 1st or 2nd team b/c MVP speaks for its self.... It puts them above 1st and 2nd team status.. Players are also not voted on by the number of picks or tackles that they make, they arer voted on by the total number of plays they make and their importance to the success of their team...

Just one question, why do the guys from lumberton always think that there is some type of conspiracy going on.... i mean its getting to where coaches cant even vote on the all districts teams with out there being some type of conspiracy theory going on....
