The twins and Scott are a pretty good trio. Ozen has an explosive trio. The biggest difference in Crosby's trio and the trio of Green, Jones and Nelson is that Green has a cannon for an arm and is a legit D1 QB prospect. When he scrambles and is moving toward the line he can throw it on a rope 50+ yards (not an exageration). The key for PNG containing him was we did a good job of keeping him in the pocket while putting pressure on him. He was also still favoring that right knee.
yeap and as we all found out sat that knee seems to be ALRIGHT ;D ;D

Ozen didn't win district that year and may have been seeded #3 that year. I think the final score was 60+ - 14 in Ozen's favor. This game was played at Lamar Stadium, which I attended. It appeared that THAT team had no business getting off the bus and had no business on the same field as that Ozen team. This may be the same type of game.
It was actually 2004 and Galena Park came in w/ an identical record as the 2011 BH Eagles.. I could be mistaken but, but I do have one question BH Fans, what type of offense does Crosby run? ;) ;)
Ok. I was a year off. My bad. Well, I've just found out that BH lost to Crosby, so they are 9-1. The 2004 Galena Park team was 10-0 heading into the playoffs.
Galena Park was10-0 that year WOW... Crosby must have gotten past those LB's ;D ;D ;D
They did and they got past the PNG team that you couldn't ;) and we got past the Nederland team that you couldn't 8)
1386 just remember this number...

I tell you what if its going to be hard for OZEN to stop the veer then the Hill will have to start passing b/c once OZEN get on top they wont be able to run the veer to stay in the game.. High scoring game is in the FAVOR of OZEN.

Lumberton @ Beaumont Ozen

This GAME will come down to wheather or not Vidor wins Friday. If Vidor Wins I say Ozen comes out and wins this game easilly it will be over by halftime.. 36-12 (OZEN will be playing for playoffs) However if Vidor loses OZEN comes out flat and it could be real interesting for LUMBERTON... -

2cent i dont think ppl are trying to talk down on your brother he is a good back but the thread started off asking for opinions on who we though were the best 2 backs in 20-4A.. size to me doesnt have anything to do w/ it comments where more less being made about scholarship offers that you just openly admitted were false..

[T
Seriously? Do you not know anything about football at all? Ozen's rushing attack is led by ONE person. Vidor's rushes are shared by FOUR people all of which are in the top 15 in 20-4A. So therefore Bolingers stats are better because he has to share his runs with 3 other guys. I guarantee if Bolinger was on a one running back offense he would blow Jones out of the water but he isn't. And Bolinger isn't 125 he's more of a 155. And we will see who is playing at the next level. So far Bolinger has gotten attention from Baylor, Lamar, SFA and SHSU but noone has made any offers because that would be illegal to make an offer at this time in the year. If you knew anything about football you would know that.
I told yall about arguing w/ 2cents, u will get a head ache.. this comment alone about bollinger having better stats b/c he has to share his carries, man this is some serious thinking outside the box.. and then he/she goes on to say Bollinger has offers/ interest from Baylor/ Lamar/SHSU/SFA.. In the words of the ESPN MONDAY NIGHT CREW "COME ON MAN"

Wow two cents you figured it out.. So its been the coaching over there at OZEN for the past few years. Im glad you cleared it up for everyone. So that makes the coaching staffs of the teams who lost to Ozen even worse. Well now you can go back to your POP WARNER JOB and get after those 9 year olds GO PIRATES!!! ;) ;) ;) P.S. Dont give up your day job

We have the #2 defense in the district
Uh where do you get your stats at. Ozen does not have the number 2 defense. Just look at the stats. Defensive scoring - 1. Nederland with 18.6, 2. Vidor with 18.8, 3. Llivingston with 19.2, 4. LCM with 20.4, 5 Ozen with 22.4 Total yards - 1. Ozen with 115.6 Your not even leading the league in any division while Vidor is in the top 3 in every single one and leading one of them. So yes you do have a lack of defense.
I am no longer responding to these simple messages, for you to pull up stats and show ur ignorance of the game, a teams defensive ranking is based upon total ydg per game. im done

Vidor 70 - Ozen 3
They're playing basketball now?
Naw man I'm just looking at the facts, VIDOR is 4-1 and from what I've been reading have to be the most disciplined team in SETX.. They have beat Kirbyville, Bridge City, Lumberton, and o yeah Texas High. We all know its not a track meet its a football game and with that being said its an even match-up as far as speed goes b/c there is a difference from runnning around a track than on grass field or should i say turf field. AND THAT DIFFERENCE IS THAT INSTEAD OF A FINISH LINE IT WILL BE A GOAL LINE ;D ;D ;D ;D -

How about those PANTHERS!!!!
Congrats to the Panthers. I am an LCM supporter and came away from last weeks Ozen game impressed by the Panthers. The Bears played well and had their chances to win, but Ozen came up with big play after big play whenever challenged. I thought if LCM could contain Green from running we would be in good shape...the Bears did that, but Green threw the ball very well. Ozen receivers made some great catches especially the Nelson kid. My biggest surprise was how tough the Ozen defense played. The Ozen "D" in the red zone was the real difference maker. Congrats again to Ozen. Bears have to rebound against Central.
Respected post, thanks from an OZEN supporter
