Its not that we won a state championship its the fact that no one gave the panthers a chance.. it was like nederland was just that good and that even though both teams came in with an identical record of 1-2 the bulldawgs were gonna just blow ozen out of the water.. it just upsets me that the past few years ozen has fell off and teams like nederland start to disrespect a team while its coming off a few down seasons by scheduling them as a homecoming game.. to be honest ozen might have the best defense in 20-4A.. i know that comment will start a whole new conversation, but i will go as far as saying it might be the best defense ozen has ever had...

Hey I tried to tell em on the other thread that the dawgs would be crying on homecoming night... I heard a few bulldawg coaches fell to their knees when the Anderson kid pulled in the winning td.. hey it is amazing how nederland goes from saying that neuman will have them ready and they WILL WIN DISTRICT, but when the panthers win, the game becomes sloppy and neither team will win another game.. why cant they just say that it was a good game and that the panthers and bulldawgs played a hard defensive game... however it doesnt matter the panthers are (1-0) in district and their playoff hopes are looking alot better than theirs.. ozen had penalties and yes their offense may have looked sloppy but let the truth be told the game was actually decided on a long td run by #1 (who also had the HIT of the week) until the old yellow flag came out and had new head coach jef nelson almost on the 50 yard line.. flags kept the dawgs in it and the panther offense came alive to win the game

I must ask the question if ozen is so horrible, why did the refs have to keep the bulldogs in the game.. ozen clearly beat the dogs on a sloppy field even though the go ahead touchdown buy the big kid #1 was called back.. you ncan say ozen played horrible but their defense simply man handled the dawgs.. they knocked their qb out of the game and even held the dogs on the goal line not whose or twice but a few times.. please give the panthers credit for winning, it doesnt matter if you win by 7 or 27 its a win and a good win... Whats the big deal about being scheduled on someones homecoming? Its a game that has to played at some point. Nederalnd looked bad, played bad, and Ozen did not look very good! They just beat a team that is sub-par and beat up with injuries. Don't make excuses. Give Ozen their props and keep it moving. Injuries are a part of the game. I am givng props... Hey why so harsh.. B/C the Panther JV must have took that shovin a lil personal b/c they stuffed it down the Doggy Chute.... Bull Dogg JV scored with less than 2 minutes to go in the fourth and they were down 24-2..

OK :( Since everyone is getting all serious about the situation even though it all started as good ol' clean trash talking... The fact of the matter is both teams are in real need of another win and would really benefit from starting District off (1-0).. They both come in with pre-seas on records of (1-2) and are both kinda starting off new on offense.. dont care how you cut it, Nederland is trying to replace a very good QB in Bellow.. A QB who many would say could have been District Offensive MVP and possibly the best QB in 20-4A you dont just replace a kid like that it just doesnt happen.. As for the Panthers they are finally finding and idenity in there new spread offense after starting off slow in their first 2 games the Panthers unleashed a serious rushing attack on Houston Worthing.. But we shall see just how potent it really is b/c the Nederland game has always been a battle for both teams... I really have a feeling that who ever comes out with a win will make it real interesting in 20-4A b/c they will have the momentum going into their next game Ozen facing Livingston and Nederland taking on PNG...

Nederland always schedules its weakest opponents for Homecoming so we have something to dance about after kicking their sorry butts! We'll I guess Friendswood should have put you guys down as their homecoming game b/c they slaughtered you guys I dont think the offense had over 100yrds total...

I really hate being the barrier of bad news but OZEN will ruin homecoming for all you BULLDOG faithful... So all you dawgs kiss your pretty little girlfriends right now because come Friday night there wont be anything to celebrate.. go ahead and cancel your homecoming rental tux because you wont feel like wearing it after around 9:45- 10:00pm when the jumbo screen at bulldog stadium leaves you guys stunned and maybe you guys will think twice b4 scheduling the panthers as a homecoming win!!!!!

Panthers by 2 TD's... People are saying James White is coming back, if they had 2 100+ yard rushers last week adding White into the equation only makes things better... Coach Nelson has done a great job in the pre-season games making adjustments and finding what his teams stregnths are.. Remember while at Brook his offense had 2 good backs in Albert Williams & Christine Michaels while running the spread.. I say Ozen starts District off (1-0) after friday night

I have to honestly say today has been the most fun i've had ever on a thread.. I would like to thank shorttexas and weed g gone for sharing their lyrical genious and you guys have no idea how hard it is to try and not make this rhyme ;D ;D ;D But as the kids say "on the real" good luck to both teams this weekend and best of luck to who ever wins bmt bowl.. hopefully when central and ozen meet it will be for a district championship b/c that means a hell of alot more than a city title....

honestly beating nacogdoches is nothing to brag about they're terrible...and remember last year's ozen team beat nacogdoches as well and brook hung up 50 on em...not saying it will happen again after seeing what lufkin did to brook You know you really need to consider changin your screen name.. b/c you seem to far from a fan are supporter of Ozen.. maybe you should try Ozens Hater.... ;D ;D

After the 1st Qtr. i dont know Sgt.... Last year even with an All American back Ozen lead after the 1st qtr.. I really think people have let the last 3 yrs get to them remember.. Ozen has only had 3 losing seasons and it looks like the panthers of old have returned but lets just wait only 1 week remains until alot of people get a real wake up call
