Rough half for Silsbee with the techs and ejection, but still playing well. The difference is Grimes taking over the second quarter, and #2 for CP playing an solid half of basketball.

Refs have done their part to really take the air out of this game, but it's not all on them. Very tight calls on any contact, and three techs given to silsbee players. Two given to Mike in a span of 5 seconds. It is hard to speculate what's been said on the court, but is clear that Silsbee players have been very vocal towards CP players and the refs early on.

#22 is the best player for The Woodlands. The game against College Park will be a tough one too. College Park was up by about 20 before Brazosport made it a game late. You will see the best Junior in the state of Texas play on Saturday in Q. Grimes.

Central is simply bigger and better. Doesn't get more complicated than that. Ozen is good too, but isn't a match-up problem by physical size. I already told y'all some a few years ago.. The times of Nederland fearing the Beaumont teams is in the past. The bulldogs under Brian English approach every game like they are going to win. Gotta be mentally tough!! Right Soulja? lol

If he was D1 talent, the coaches would already know about him. The best option will be taking whatever school can offer him a chance to earn a degree for almost nothing while playing basketball, regardless of classification

I love this thread!! The characters who post on this site still make it worth my time to stop in and read. I don't agree with DV a lot but his post about him "making an unpopular prediction and getting hammered with ridicule" is all that happens here. Nederland fans know what that's like on the basketball forum. The worst part is that it is still happening, even though recent history has shown otherwise. I laugh all the time when people from the region count Nederland out with what has been going in their program. Until English is no longer coaching there AND the under-level system is gone, Nederland will compete every year for district and the playoffs. If that disappoints you, rewind the clocks 10 years back to your own "Glory Days" I'm out now! Enjoy the game of basketball and support the kids playing! Good luck Jags and Dogs!
