Summer league play will really show teams what he brings. He needs to prove he can be a play maker with limited minutes and the ball not in his hands as often. Best of luck JB

Wise coached kids that ended up play for Yates.. Saw him coaching his team, Houston Select or Elite, I forget which one is was during last year's GMI in Humble.. He roams around the AAU circuit in Houston and talks to players.. But like I said earlier, Wise knows he cant use transfered players on Varsity the first year, so he follows the rule book.. But Yates is like a junior college.. take most of the local talent and put them on a squad.. Dickie V, I admire you staying loyal to your friend, but he has followed the path to ruining high school basketball in Texas

Anyone who says this series will be less than 6 games just plain has a grudge against the other team.. Star power and highlight plays all series long! I say Heat, but would not be shocked at all if OKC wins

If I had a smartphone, I would update.. Sorry about that one.. West can really swing the bats and was better that Sweeny.. Pleasant Grove and Robinson was a great game! Robinson got bases loaded with no outs in the last inning and the batter hit a weak grounder to the pitcher for a double play.. Then the coach for Robinson pinch hit a Sophomore and he grounded out.. They had their chance but couldnt come through.. West vs. Pleasant Grove will be a good one! I will be at Dell Diamond all day tomorrow watching the 1A and 2A champs, then the 4A semi's

The best players for Yates are not homegrown.. They are transfers.. But Yates follows the rules of transfers so that they dont get in trouble

I am not a person who worships Yates, but I am a realist.. After Yates gets those players from their JV up to Varsity, since they had to sit a year, added with the returners from last year, All I can say is that 3A is in serious trouble

Nothing against Wise, but It doesnt take a basketball guru to run a full-court run-and-jump press with players that are taller than the other team.. You think the dominance was something in 4A? Name one 3A team that can handle Yates.. Go on.. I will be waiting

UCLA will be a top 5 team, but will only win a championship if those players learn to play together.. If Bazz ad Anderson figure out who gets the ball at certain times, it will be hard for teams to beat them at all
