I would LOVE to meet this guy in person!! Not able to head over there for certain reasons but its all good ;) I have figured DickieV out.. He just the kind of poster who wants to take the other side on everything to get responses from people and make this board more active.. Kudos to you sir because you have accomplished that and more.. But your statements about Nederland are not just taking the other side, they are based completely on the fact you dont like the change in district 20-4A.. Whether he wants to agree with it or not, he still remembers the days when Ozen ran this area and used to beat people before the game was even played! All those scared people are gone and other teams have confidence and swagger.. The Nederland faithful are enjoying the ride.. Why dont you Dickie? Its better than hating on a programs success every chance you see fit.. Smile! this team you are hating on is representing your area in basketball proudly!

Basketball IQ and the skills to go with make a player talented, but the reason some teams are just plain better than others is the fact that their players were more physically gifted.. (Height, wingspan, body size).. The root of talent in basketball is work ethic and practice.. And the kids that want to put the time in to be better, will be better

I know one thing about Wheatley, they dont mind a running game at all.. Track meet type games are welcome to them.. Could get interesting

I can understand them not wanting people to use it because of other teams not respecting the place and damaging equipment. I do however see them finding a way for the gym to still be used. It is a perfect venue for some playoff type games

The underclassmen should all be staying. Brown, Kabongo, Lewis, and McClellan is pretty good back-court rotation to build on.. Those freshmen bigs are going to need to step it up

Can not believe other top schools couldnt take House out of Houston area.. That kid is a prospect who has a nice future
