So am I understanding you correct? The team that used to be bullied isn't anymore, and that's a problem? Btw, it's not like the under-levels at Nederland are terrible.. Brian has helped change the culture for young kids in Nederland.. They all want to play basketball

Wow.. This thread is unbelievable... Why is race is being brought out? The seating issue shouldn't be an issue at all. I can see both sides to this arguement, but there shouldn't be a problem though if the staff can identify the sign at the doors that says which side the visitors sit on, and which the home sits on. It also shouldn't be a big deal if they ask people to move for that reason. I like to sit wherever I want as well especially in the Nederland gym, but if special rules where made for this game, anticipating a large crowd, then that's how the seating will take place. As far as the actual reason everyone showed up, like maybe the game, Central is very good and them winning isn't too much of shock, but most people can tell you that Nederland can play with these guys. A few shots here and there and this could have gone a different way. Some players for Nederland need to really be more aggressive on offense to help out. All in all, it's not the end of the world for Nederland. The Beaumont school made their statement that they are tired of Nederland and wanted to win these key games. How Nederland responds is going to be big and deciding if they want to win district again. As far as the big body situation, it would sure be a luxury to have other players with some size, but that simply isn't the case this year. You only work with what you are given, so Weisbrod is called on to have a huge role of post defense, then carry the team offensively. Lets get ready for the rematches and take care of business. If they could get it worked out, I want it to be district games.. No playoff preview.. Could you imagine Nederland/PNG first, then Ozen/Central, and finally HJ/Silsbee right afterwards?

Value possession of the basketball and knock down free throws.. Would not be surprised if either team wins, but shocked if the margin for any team is more than 10 points I think Nederland plays with alot of heart at home and makes clutch shots late to win by 4

English has built a system over here in Nederland. He is a good coach, but a better team-builder. I hope Nederland wins every-year, but honestly, the best team English had to make it to Austin was the 2011 class.. Hope I am wrong But all this talk of English had nothing to do with this outcome. It's amazing how combing classes of recruits can really upgrade the level of competition

Can you blame Dove for being this excited? Ozen beat the team who has been winning district the past 3 years! Too bad he thinks the past just fades away like a bad dream of his :D

Not like I was running my mouth on here. Ozen won the first game so it is what it is. Don't think any more or less than that of either team

Bmt Hoopstars never played the full varsity squad of Nederland during any of the past few summers.. And Ozen was never at the fall leagues Nederland was at.. So I like the info Dove ;) This will be a physical game again.. Ozen will play man, fullcourt pressure.. No way they play zone against Nederland who jacks up 3's
