  1. A Lou will never be a head coach in BISD as long as Thomas in the Supt(I was told that by a board member 4 years ago.) Besides, he needs a good DC to make it work, otherwise, he'll be losing to Nederland and PN-G again on the regular......
  2. I would hate having to participate in the UIL marching comp with less than necessary band when I was @SFA(stopped in the 10th grade). Central could care less what they grade out in UIL. They won first place @ a showband comp in Lake Charles. Most show bands have 2 routines: one for the UIL and one for the fans----show band comps. To eaches own. I leave when the other band comes on because it's either Aggie corp style or marching with circles......
  3. Let me check something.... Okay current KW enrollment per the UIL is 3206... Now when most schools come online, usually it's 9-10 so lets say they have 750 per class(that 3206 is based on a formula and not 4x800 kids) and they open up in the fall of '07. Keep in mind, they'll play a jv schedule and won't be figured in till spring '08 realignment. The UIL has another formula for schools with 3 grades and is often more than the actual number turned in so just looking at 3x750 ish kids, that put them above the current 1960 cutoff plus not to mention more move-ins to the attendance zone.
  4. I've got a strong feeling the Hill will b in 4A for the next 4 realignments(8 years) unless your kindergarteners avg 250 new students during those years, y'all will be in 4A. The current cutoff is 1960 ish and will continue to inch up as more 5A come online in the Metroplex and in San Antonio
  5. I have a strong feeling KW Park will open as a 5A school just like Atasocita
  6. I want to be so wrong on this one: LM 42 Central 14 Too much tradition from them Coogs from Galveston Co.
  7. A hard ending for a soft spread offense team......
  8. If people would just paid a little attention, this first round was a carbon copy of last year. Ozen/Dayton was a 1 point slugfest albeit called much more cleanly by the refs and was won on a blocked extra point. Dayton was the champ and Ozen was 2nd Central/Crosby. Champs vs 2nd place team and it showed on the score board Nederland/CE King. They always seem to get the easiet draw in the first round.....
  9. 1. Thanks for the congrats 2. Thank the refs for keeping y'all in the game 3. Thank Central's DC for having them look at wrist bands instead of lining up and playing 4. Thank the OC for calling stupid sideways pass plays instead of running right at the Hill Now on to the 4 time #4 ranked LaMarque Cougars........
  10. 1 2nd stringer plus 21 first stringers=EC rice and chicken dinner
  11. Not bad considering they lost their starting QB. They maybe more dangerous with little Kerlurkin(sp)
  12. I can tell you 2 teams is good enough. We benefited in 82 and 83 as did WB. Also you pay a price for finishing 2nd because everybody we played in '83 were district champs and or ranked. 3 teams just weakened everything
  13. I don't know how the middle school fared to be honest. All I know that it will be Central and Central big......
  14. I just hope all of you Barbra's Hill poser are on here Saturday morning after Central runs all over you little eagles.....
  15. Amen '92. If only 2 teams went, then a certain school with posers that have "11 years of Excellence" in their tags would have to change that to 6.........
  16. Hotties and Barbras Hill could be an oximoron........ Again there's nothing between the Trinity and 146 that I'd find the least bit interesting.... Yeah Jake 5' 5" 150 with my pads on.......
  17. Now that's funny......
  18. In all honesty, she doesn't know squat. Never played the game, so why would I feel threatened??? You Barbie dolls need to dig yourselves sometimes..... Barbie's Hill: Internet champs of Chamber's Co.
  19. I wouldn't consider GP an inner city school by any stretch. Just started winning a couple of years ago when an assistant from Northshore took the job. What I find strange is how in a ISD as small as GP(area) can you have 1 schoo with 1800 kids and the other with damn near 3600. Talk about a lopsided student assignment plan....
  20. Trust me when I say back then or even now, there's nothing in Cove, Winfree, Old River, or Mount Belvieu that I would remotely be interested in....
  21. I was on the telling end of 21-0 butt whipping in 84. So I'm very familar with the Hill. I'm a little long in the tooth but I can still lay a pancake every now and again....
  22. I consider Hill's talent about in the same relm as the MidCounty schools and those Jags put 96 points on them The Hill won't know what hit them....
  23. The board will slow down after all this Barbies hill poster leave Saturday morning 8) 8) 8)
  24. Just like GP was 10-0 2 years ago and Ozen hung 61 points on them. How would the Hill fare against Lee, WB, and Sterling?? 10-0 is 10-0 but the schedule won't get them ready for what Central brings to the table and considering this is mostly the same bunch that lost to Kirbyville.........
  25. it's good to see all this enthusiasm on the Trinity. Y'all act like Central is a 1 man show when they have their 4x100 in the backfield/wr and in the seconday. By the way, the Oline ain't no slouch either.... Central 49 BH 7
