  1. What great receivers. Butler and Whitiker are gone..... So the answer is no
  2. You give me 83 Dangerfield, 85 Yates, or 88 Carter, and I'd beat Dodge, or anybody else playing now.....
  3. Yeah the kids are bigger, faster, stronger that us in some aspects but they're also, softer, more spoiled, and less driven than us. We played outside----whatever season it was, that's what we played. Most of these kids get sore thumbs from xbox...... I could coach a team from the 80's and wishbone/I formation a spead team to death......
  4. I voted for the Blue and Silver. It doesn't matter what BH has, they've always come in over hyped. I think we owned them something like 7-2 with the Hill winning the last 2 before we dropped to 2A. Again, WO-S reminds me of those teams SFA had in the mid 80's and 90's. I'm partial to the Blue and Silver anyway.....
  5. Sounds like Shorty Broussard Swamppie....... 1983 SFA vs. Woodville. My buddie and weak side DE Marvin Ned catches Burt Murchinson under the chin after Burt missed a flare pass and Mr. Murchinson got up draggin his head on the ground.... We won 14-0 2001 Ozen vs. Nederland when Tony Ward laid out what's his face at WR caught him looking up for a pass and I saw Tony peel off his drop and I was like ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh shyt here it comes.... I taped that hit from TV and played it over and over again... Ozen's first victory 26-13 I believe the score was
  6. Ozen by 6. WB has no secondary and no proven WRs.......
  7. PA SFA Duriel Harris NTSU, Miami Dolphins 1 SB ring Kenneth Ford OSU Brian McZeal 2nd in PA's history in rushing John Evans Chris Reed 88 yd TD return if he had a brain, the best to come out of PA Chad Johnson SWTS and DC @West Brook Lawrence Texada Henderson St, New York Jets Alan Griggie SFA 87 on that other board Graylon Johnson #1 recruit in '88 John Tomplait
  8. I see the majority says 1-3 wins. I remember when L-town went 7-3 the 2 years they were 3A. They beat my Eagles, but couldn't get passed H-F and Newton. Anyway, 1-3 wins with 1 in district. As for BISD, I've said it on the radio and I've said it on many a message board: 22-4A comes through Beaumont As for this stupid No Child Left Behind BS and task: All 3 school are AA--well Central had 'exempt status' on the latest test scores I saw. Anyway, WB is no better than Ozen as far as test scores go. And for the umpteenth time, Ozen has a Magnet program, as does Central now, and is not a magnet school as defined by the state of Texas. I wish some of you know-it-alls would get your house in order first before commenting on ours......
  9. Billy Chaivous is reported to have played safety during WB spring drills. Be on the lookout.....
  10. All because of Durham getting kicked out of 7/7??? Trust me, he's not a hot head and like it was said on a another board, it may've been a knee jerk reaction by the ref because of earlier incidence during the 7/7 season with the refs and parents. Clayton runs a tight ship and again, Ozen's won 3 of the last 4.....
  11. Nederland ahead of Ozen with no secondary or proven recievers and losing the last 3 of 4 from Ozen.......
  12. JC had 350 against Lee and 400 agains Westfield. Never seen a kid running that didn't change gears when he needed to. That Westfield game, he ran so smoothly and fluid in the open field.
  13. Probably H-F overall. Newton in the Mid 90's. Liberty late
  14. The 84 season, it rained 7 of the 10 weeks. It was also the first year of HB 72 but anyway, playing H-J in Sour Lake. The field was so muddy, they put hay on the sidelines. We won 9-7 but we lost our starting FB to a broken ankle when he got stuck in that gumbo mud.....
  15. okay i thought RTG's boys played 3 games already
  16. Sounds like PA's in the final 4 right???
  17. Going to either MC school. Piss Poor Parking.....
  18. WO-S won the last 3 with Ned. It was that first game(2002) I think when a kid got tossed out of the game for a questionable late hit. I'm sure a bulldog fan(atic) will verify or deny this
  19. Tim McKyer from Lincoln or Mickey Washington from WB(personal friends) But a sentimental vote goes to Chris Reed from SFA. Dumb as a sack of rocks but was 6' 5", 270. 4.5 40 and anchored SFA's 4x100 relay. Was cut by the Vikings and Green Bay after playing only 1 season of JUCO ball....
  20. Yeah. You may be thinking when Celina beat Midland Lee
  21. I know this is 7 on 7 but Richland is either 2A or 1A......
  22. I don't know. I guess RTG will outscore everybody
  23. That's my point. I was telling someone at work tonight how ATM is going to that queer 4-2-5 defense and trying to ressurect the 'Wreckin' Crew' but with everybody in the Big 12 South running some variation of the spread, I can see the need to be in nickle most of the time but there will never be another 'Wrecking Crew' @ ATM. When RTG was in PA 26 years ago, the wishbone and the I formation were the norm. What he's doing now isn't anything special as far as being ahead of the curve.
  24. PAM of course but anything short of state is a failure with the father of the forward pass as the head man in PA
