Yes Ozen is 2-0 but who have they really faced defensively? Yes LCM is good offensively but they haven't produced the numbers that our defense or offense has. Yes central is good but they had nowhere near the numbers our defense or offense has. Yes Green is good but that's the same thing people were saying about Matt Menard before Vidor played BC. He was supposed to be amazing and look what happened. We shut him and his offense down to less than 7 points. And our defense has gotten better since then. Ozen is in for a rude awakening.
SMH.  The played PAM and WB.  PAM is really getting after folk defensively this year.  Who has Vidor played on the level of PAM?  No one.  Green may pass for 400 on slow Vidor.  I watched the Pirates play BC.  Wasn't impressed
Are you serious? Your really bringing up the PAM game. Yes we haven't faced a team that is as good as PAM but what did yall do against PAM? 153 yards? 8 points to there 45? Wow. Yall reallly handed it to em. Dang. Sounds like a close game.  ::)
Maybe Texas High could beat PAM's JV Ateam but there's no one on Vidor's schedule that comes close to PAM.  You guys in East Beaumont are delusional
 2. And Vidor struggled with BC and Lumberton..... I repeat, BC and Lumberton.....
 3. You score 21 on little ole BC and that's suppose to compare to playing PAM and WB?  Please.  Y'all run a slower version of Livingston's defense and Ozen will feel like the game's going in slow motion.....

 5. Got it from a reliable source Mitchell has  a deep shoulder bruise.  But plan are to start the lefty or bring up a Freshman......
 6. Mitchell went down 2nd play of the game.  Central has to regroup and focus on these last 5 games.......
 7. I left @28-0.  Central can win 4 games and still get in but wow they have to get their house in order quickly.  Still missing tackles
 8.

Brenham QB Dean Haveman- 51 of 74 for 697 yards and 14 TD's & 0 INT's.  He's completed 68.9% of his passes. (First year starter) HB Klartel Claridy- 86 carries for 608 and 4 TD's. (First year starter) WR Tre'mund Moore- 29 receptions for 408 yards and 9 TD's. *These guys only played 2 quarters against Huntsville, and 3 quarters against Magnolia West.
thread title " in the area "
We can open it some, don't ya'll think?
If you do that, then Channelview has a nice 3 headed monster.  Hurts is 116 out of 175 for 1831 yards and 20 TDs.  Wesley has caught 45 passes for 751 yards and 5 TDs.  Johnson has caught another 520 yards and 7 TD's.  At this time, C'View was 0-5 last year
 9. But what if, and it's a big if, WB loses to C'Ville, PAM, NS, and LP?  That'll put PAM in D1.  Just something to mull over.....
 10. They were sorry in the last years.  Then the newly combined BISD gave the WB job to Hentchel after the death of Durley and Noland was the HC for the 84 and 85 season.
 11. I saw a guy on PBS when talking the lead up to Euless Trinity playing a privite school from Arkansas, use the phrase, "winning the game getting off the bus...." or something like that.  As far as 7 Lakes goes, they're a new school in the same ISD with Katy and Cinco and have low expectations.  They could have a life coach and the premere strength and conditioning personnel and still lose because they have no history.  Morten(sp) Ranch is in the same boat.  The only way Katy will lose to those newer schools and or Taylor and Mayde Creek is a concerted effort to water down their incoming freshman class and or the current coach retires and they go to the Spread O....
 12. Ozen's Oline play was better.  Looks like they got a new center because I saw no bad snaps.  Big Ryan had a chance to sack Green for a safety but didn't wrap up.  Better Oline play and Green continuing to throw for over 200 yards/game gives Ozen a shot every week.  I was impressed with the defense after watching them against WB...
 13. Once upon a time, I witnessed a GP team beating Dayton in OT.  Imma go against the grain and take the Jackets.....
 14.
I wouldn't say they are the favorite either. I do believe we now have a TRUE T team race for play-offs.  I worry about LP's pass defense, they get pressure but the secondary is suspect. I hope a victory is there for LP. How is CV defense, have not heard from them.
Typical spread team.  They give up almost as much as they gain on average but still a dangerous team.  Sterling is definately staying home but there's 5 teams for 4 spots at least 4-1.....
DEPTH, DEPTH, DEPTH...They have none.
How many do they suit up and how many kids go both ways??

 17. Green is playing grown man ball and Ozen's defense isn't too shaby.  Panthers....
 18.

It's going to be yet another reality check for Central.  Livingston may very well beat them by 40 or more.  Livingston won't ever have to worry about the "Impressive" defensive line for central because they will burn the field around the ends.  Central is one more step closer to basketball is the saturday headlines here.
wouldn't get that confident I very well do believe that Livingston can and will win this game but it wont be by anymore then a touchdown
That's more of a realistic assesment.  I guess Barbra's Hill posters are now all football experts from beating Dayton....
 19. Stack 8 in the box plus since the QB goes both ways @Corner, I'd run his way and hit him every chance they get.....
Let me make a knee jerk response:  PN-G ain't getting a playoff spot.....  This game may be for the district championship....
As always sfa85 u r a hater!
I'm one of a few who take up for Central and or Ozen so I love my kids more than I hate yours.....  So by definition, I'm not a hater.  Just a responder.....
Because Beaumont never seems to truly deal with the problem.  They let the kid who got caught smoking weed in Orange play basketball.  Winning was more important that teaching a kid a lesson.  He ended up doing the same thing at college and lost the scholarship.  BISD has some responsiblity for not holding the kid accountable when they could have.  At least NISD is suspending them from extracurricular activities for 6 weeks.  Must not have been a coach who caught them though!!!lol
And Ned delt with their last 'problem' by letting those 3 kids swappin' head meds back on the team.  Yeah, they didn't play but they were on the team.  Now the kid that got arrested in class is another talk show but Ned is far from perfect when it comes to dealing with it's 'problems'.  A lot of those 'problems' get lucky and get hired on to place like where I work and we all have to deal with them
Respectfully, why don't y'all shut the heck up and quit complaining about something that has nothing to do about anything.  BISD kids, NISD kids, SISD, LISD ...they're no different.  Leave it alone unless you plan on proposing a solution instead of bi&%$ing the whole thread.
Sorry.  But I stated a biased position based on past history.  The solution has been implimented but we'll see if Nuemann will stick to it this time...
