Funny thing also, the more all-staters/pseudo-All americans in your defense, the worse stastically y'all have gotten. It's no big secret on how to beat Nederland the last 6 years: Run right down their throats. That's a failure in coaching and preparation that starts with Nuemann. Now, with Saint Mosely gone, y'all have gotten soft on O. Looking like a poor-man's Lumberton of the late 90's/early 00's. But don't be mad at me. The proof of what I say are in the numbers......

Okay, they swapped out Pearland for NS, they've always played Ball, whipped up on PN-G/Ned and healed up in time to normally win district. Something Neumann's never done. They past up on a real coach last time and got this bum who didn't last a full 12 months, they better get an old Coog assistant to maintain and return LM to state rather than messing around with Nuemann.

Even if Neumann returns(and he will, Suggs gets the job @LM), there's still Spell running that swiss cheese D which gave up 40+ points the last 3 games on avg., on that big pretty score board. Matter of fact, I heard after Dayton got done, it was leaning to the right lol

There was a big knock down, drag out fight last time the HC/AD job was open in LM and the loser went on to win 4A Div1 chapionship. I doubt they pass up Suggs, who is also a strong disciplinarian(for those who may have forgotten) plus he's a defensive mastermind and Nuemann is cotton soft when it comes to defense.

The big difference between a Central or a Nimitz is they're in a multi-school district while LM is it's own little island of tradition and rings. This could further enhance the Suggs legacy if he could land this job and make it to state....

Actually, Ozen lost to Newton @Cardinal something like 20-18. There was a Gulley that went to UH, there was a TE/DL that went to TT on that team. That Newton team was stout.....

They're in 4A because of their numbers. Don't be mad, especially since BISD's attendence zones don't affect you in LC-M or where ever you reside. BTW, WB is over capacity by 800 and Ozen is under capacity by 500 but only 12-15 kids can play on varsity at one time. Explain the 'fairness' in BISD assigning 2 elementary schools in and near the Pear Orchard to Marshall, which is in the West End? Explain that to me. And based on your information, West Brook just by sheer numbers should be further in the playoffs because they have a better selection than Ozen. I guess thats a another positive that Ozen obviously have excellent coaching. Yes, Ozen has the best b-ball coach in the area bar none. It's about time you admit the obvious.....

Country bumpkin logic? How can someone from the bustling metropolis of PORT ACRES call anyone a country bumpkin. Good lord, Port Acres is the only town I know of where gangstas wear fishing hooks in their hats. And I wish I made that up, but saw it first hand at The Store. You know The Store...as in the only. May have graduated from the Acres but I have a full world view of things. But you didn't answer the question. I want to know how Ozen is stealing from the other schools only during basketball season when the team only holds 12-15 players???

Why does this subject come up everytime Ozen does something well in sports. Ozen and Central both have magnet programs so they don't fall within the UIL's guidelines. If Central were a true magnet school, then my daughter would be taking nursing classes along with the other 1500 or so kids. All of Ozen's 1200 or so would be in the continuation of the Pegasus program which starts @Odem Academy. But of course, no one pays attention to WB being 800 kids over building capacity(for those who use Beaumont's population as an argument). BISD has attendence zones but because of No child left behind and Task scores delusion, all multischool districts allow transfers under the understanding that the school can help his or her child pass that test(I tend to hold kids responsible rather than the school). Also, Kelly and Heritage pull from all the public schools so there it is. Besides, please make me understand through your country bumpkin logic, how a team of 12-15 kids is somehow stealing players from other programs in Beaumont????

State Tournament......

Hurts my heart to see Forest Brook/NFISD go down like it has. I had 4 cousin graduate from FB and they had plenty of pride in that school. Just plain sad. My wish for them is to make 1 school and keep their district or to be absorbed into Sheldon ISD(C. E. King). I doubt HISD nor Aldine would want them eventhough it means more potential revenue from the businesses along US 59

Added a dressing room for both teams in '84. Upgraded the bleachers and moved the fencing back, removed the enzone seats. Made the repairs to the lights after Rita and a new score board w/o the bells and whistles
