  1. Glad you mentioned that. I wanted to ask you the first time you capped on LM for the pre kick ritual, what about when PN-G had the kid looking like he had epilepsy before he signaled the kickoff team?? What's the difference???
  2. [move]I dunn wet ma britches[/move] ;D ;D ;D ;D Alas, the once Mighty Cujo is on hard times as of late.....
  3. I'm an old Olineman so I tend to favor smashmouth schemes but I also realize you must throw to be succesful therefore I'll talk the Pro-I apporach and my TE's will have at least 3-500 yards in receptions. That way, my WR's can't be doubled up, and they can't stack 8-9 in the box to stop the run. Plus, my kids would have more scholarship opportunities and I don't have to wait for a savior-type player to resurrect the program
  4. JY and their 6' 4" Dline take this one. Seen them play twice this year. #95 had commited to Alabama....
  5. Not surprising. Most of you don't see farther than Jefferson Co. line. Anyway, Johnston in a rout.....
  6. I saw BTW play Yates. Big Oline. Both teams have simular stats. I'll go with the Eagles....
  7. Hold up pilgram, I said nothing derrogatory about Lumberton. Hell, I work with Love Ya Blu(or whatever his screen name is). I'm just pointing out some facts that when those lights come on, Ltown might not be ready for. Again, I saw this team last year carve up Central in the 2nd round, and beat Schertz Clements with only 68 yards of total O. New coach, new scheme on O and D, and they still win 8 games, now 9 with only 7 starters returning? Man, y'all won't know what hit ya but it's refered to as the Black Maab......
  8. I'm rolling with the Champs and LC. That TC/Dayton game is a tossup. Ltown fans keep making references to this team being all world since the 6th grade but how about seeing State Championship banners since kidergarten? How about changing coaches, offense, and defense and still win 8 games? This is bigger than beating PN-G, or Nederland. This is bigger than ending the 0-41 streak. These are the defending 4A Div 2 champs. And they will bring half of North Galveston Co. with them......
  9. LMBAO @sugar britches ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
  10. If you call 8-2 regular season with wins over Ball and Pearland as being a 'down', I'll take down all day long. Just one win off of last years pace......
  11. Now and again, a hog find an acorn, a ho-bo misses a train, and a team wins by 13 and only has 68 yards of total O enroute to the state game which said team won. FYI for my hommie Luv Ya Blue, there are 30 lettermen and 7 starters from that team..... The Champs are battled tested and had a week off to heal up and it showed against El Campo......
  12. I'm not drinking the L-town coolaid but I have a question: Where were all of the so-called local fans picking local teams predictions when Central played LM? Anyway, so what LM dropped 2 district games. They are the state champs, champs of Reg 3 so I'm rolling with the champs.... P. S., it's not like LM uses smoke and bs like some MC teams around here do, they have a little thing called TRADITION and I know that's not expected from a school with LM's demographics but again, if it's not between FM 365 and the Neches, it doesn't count to some folk..... The Champs 38 Lumberton 10
  13. Like I've said before, Lee can't stop the run. I want my props on calling this one......
  14. Well if you don't believe me, google the whole Strake acceptance deal in the UIL. I remember reading that the Houston one had 900 boys which would put them in 3A. The UIL doubled their number, which put them in 4A but because they had no assigned attendance zones, and the ability to recruit, they were put in 5A.....
  15. They would play in 5A just like The Strakes. Again, the one on Bellaire and Gessner has 900 boys and they're in District 17 or 18 5A playing the Cy-Fair schools. The reason they were put in 5A because they have no physical attendance zones, so therefore, they can recruit
  16. I know you do and before you tell me anything softwestender, you should check yourself. Now you give me an example which the publics stoled from the privates besides Chaisson going to WB???
  17. Owens left because the UIL counted Huhen(sp) students and that put TJ like 8 over the 1600 cutoff in 98(I think). Also, while there was a coaching change @JT, Owens is said to have persuaded TISD to rezone some areas in Tyler which Lee benefitted greatly. Don't shoot the messenger. I want to say I read this in the DMN when JT got that new coach from Midland Lee and JT went to struggling.....
  18. It's hard for me to believe PN-G had a huge following from 78-88...... Furthermore, we had a big crowd in San Antonio(first game) and nice crowds in the Dome when they played Pearland and Katy. As long as they're winning(like most fan bases) they will come. Again, I know damn well Nederland didn't sellout home games from 69-88 unless it was MCM. Otherwise, thin crowds......
  19. So your answer to winning in PA again is to split them up? Right. Austin was struggling in 2A, TJ had Colbert barely making the postseason, and who's to say Suggs would've stayed @Lincoln. Unfortunately Scooter, we just had a bad choice in coaches at the most critical time of PAM's history: it's enception(sp). Maybe with all the brewhaha dying down on the schoolboard and with the building of the new school/facilities, maybe either a HC with a proven track record will come or some young coach who was an assistant @a powerhouse program. A good example would be the HC @Kountze who came from Converse Judson......
  20. Oh I'd let them play, just charge the snot out of them for the privilage
  21. Houston Eisenhower vs. Houston Westside (5-5), 6 p.m. Saturday, Galena Park ISD Stadium I'll be at the above location.....
  22. If it were up to me, no private school would use a public school stadium. They have the nerve to recruit from the public schools, let them pass the hat like Kelly did and build their own stadium. If not, charge them 20K to use the stadium.....
  23. Westender, your post tend to drip with juvenille sarcasm often found in the snooty boutiques on Dowlen Rd. Again, if some of you on the board would do a little research, you will found that I'm often right regarding x's and o's. But like most females, y'all tend to respond before thinking..... P. S. If you don't like my post, disagree but stay out of my pm's
  24. Because I can. And I wouldn't be so quick to say y'all stomped a team after giving up 96 points in 2 weeks. Matter of fact, I can think of a few adverbs to describe what happened to mighty ned these past 2 weeks so choose your words carefully......
