  1. So if we could ever get a decent coaching staff in PA..... I do like Viola's defense. Not the scheme but they do hustle to the ball and they bring that hat....
  2. Kenny 'Mr Xbox 360' Harrison. The Master Cheerleader lol
  3. Sounds like a 'gal' typing on the computer. The stat you cannot deny is 318 yards rushing. What if future opponets rack up those kind of yards w/o the turnovers??? Talk to me when your husband gives you permission
  4. Friendswood isn't ranked.
  5. Read the title. 314 yards rushing......
  6. New Caney hasn't done anything since Adam Dunn(Cincinnati Reds) was their QB. Still a soft, watered down schedule
  7. Our numbers don't support 2400 ADM. There's not an ISD in the state with more than 1 school with an adm less than 3000
  8. Soffffffffffffffffttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt as toilet paper.....
  9. D. Hall had 143 yards rushing and a TD
  10. Kelly and their AAU football team lol
  11. They're playing a watered-down 3A schedule.
  12. I couldn't here you guys. I'm picking Central and Ozen because they both can run the ball. Nederland hasn't shown they can run. Y'all remember now, Ozen's staff is made up of the Central staff that came to town and turn the Jags around. I still say Nederland's soft against the run and the rest of the district plays a soft schedule. My picks are Central, Dayton, and Ozen......
  13. Westfield's in reg 2 so not only would WB have to go Div 1, they'd have to win Reg 3 as well
  14. He was 'disciplined' enough to finish HS a semester early and was on campus for spring ball. Keep your sorry comments to your self before I pull out other 'rap sheets' of former area players who lacked 'discipline'
  15. SLC is a bad example. They were 3A when they one their first title. No segregated schools. No railroad tracks. One ISD instead of 3(SP, Beaumont, and yes, French). 2 highschools didn't work because all the resources were in the West End so why do you think 1 school would work????
  16. Let's see, 8 districts per region Roughly 48 teams and you're trying to tell me that an 0-2 scoreless team is in the top 3rd in the region???
  17. Oak Ridge may be average in your opinion, but they're a 5A team and it was a rival game. Since you want to make your argument based on PN-G's strength of schedule. Again, where's Ozen who played 2 5A playoff teams and about to play a 3rd????
  18. I guess Aki. I haven't been keeping up with the whole team like I should. I've been caught up in Brown-gate and my little cousin playing for Kelly.....
  19. You mean to tell me, PN-G is ranked in Region 3 w/o scoring a single point??? heck naw If that's the case, Ozen should be ranked ahead of them.... And where in the heck is Conroe Caney Creek? My God, they took out CC and they're 1-1 and added PN-G. This dude or dudes are on some serious opium.......
  20. The offense moves better with Brown. It's supposed to be the Spread and Brown throws better....
  21. Again, what most fail to realize about SLC is they won running option from the I long before Dodge got there and his previous stop, they were an average team in a multi-school district which has a great effect on the kids you get in the 9th grade. Having said all that, if any spread team would attack the seams and or run the ball effectively, the spread can work but always have a short yardage/goaline offense just in case....
  22. I don't like them either. The old white on white was just fine.....
  23. With the popularity of 7 on 7, the spread gives the illusion of being successful but what the spread breeds is soft Olines and overall soft defenses. With few exceptions(Southlake) most pass plays from the spread are either go routes or side ways passes. Most runs are draws, delayed traps, or option plays. Olinemen stay in a two point stance and they have to have quick feet and hands to be effective. But just like the old run and shoot of Mouse Davis, the spread is worthless in side the red zone. PAM is a prime example of red zone futility by staying in the 4 wide which leaves little room for pass routes. Defensively, I've seen everything from base 4-3/3/4 defenses to nickle and dime defenses and they are beginning to catch up. Most spread teams try to run so keeping 7 in the box is most effective(see WB vs. Central). Some teams rush 3 and drop 8 when the run is not a threat. It's my opinion most spread teams breed soft defense because that's all they practice against. Anytime they meet up with a more traditional offense, they have problems---especially defending the run.
  24. I may be able to put my shovel up for one more week concerning the Panthers. Just a quick note on PAM: If they want to contend, they need to play HBIV at QB and they need to install some sort of goaline offense. The best defense Ozen played was letting PAM get inside the 15. I keep telling both fans and foes of PAM, they lack a power running game. If it were me, the DB that ran down the RB for Ozen last night would be my starting RB.... I'm very impressed with how Ozen came out in the 2nd half and seemed to find a 'skirt' on PAM's right side. They never gave up and led late. Clean up all the fumbles and penalties, and the Panthers will contend for a spot. I can say this. No one in 22 4A has a Dline like WB. No one has an Oline or receivers like PAM. I saw the improvement in Ozen enough for me to predict them getting a playoff spot......
  25. Wasn't me, it was SFA 87 but I do know his aunt who works with me. Supposed to be a good baseball player as well.
