  1. If you were @the PN-G game last year, same QB. He'll throw more picks than Sampere and both will get blown out.... Champs 49 PN-G 3
  2. Pro set with and I formation.
  3. To me it started when y'all lost the 5A title game in 89.....
  4. I second that. Everybody's sleeping on Ozen. Rison was part of turning around Central from 1-9 to District champs. He can do the same @Ozen with a 9-1 JV to work with. Nobody knows anything (including me), no media hype, no big name kids returning. They are flying way under the radar.....
  5. That's just how my inside sorce explained to me. He did say, Lufkin had this one cat on the Dline that impressed him. Other than that, he felt they gave it away....
  6. I'll take name that defense after footballplayers for 200 Alex..... Glad you know some trivia and yes I was referring to Buddy Ryans invention. After talking to a Coach friend of mine, he said they were probably and this is his term, Double Eagle. Nevertheless, they had 8 in the box playing man on the corners. At times---well during game situation, it worked
  7. I love all of the hood. You're beginning to sound like a MC poser. Anyway, the RB's are still light in the back side. I couldn't tell who was who since PAM wore numberless jerseys. They don't hit the hole hard enough for me
  8. Didn't throw to them much with success. HBIV had the most completions, Alexander would either just throw to the left or roll out and throw back to the middle of the field. Revulta(sp) arm looked weak...
  9. I don't think PAM scored during the controled part of the scrimmage. Part of the problem was playing Revulta(sp) and Alexander @QB instead of HBIV. Also, they're running a Bear look on defense.(For those of you in MC who don't know football), 4 down, 2LB's, 1LB in the gap over the OT, single safety, Corners playing man. I know it adds up to 10, but they were so close to the line of scrimmage, I couldn't find that 8th person in the box. Now during game situation, PAM's O came alive with HBIV throwing 2 perfect screens(he allowed Central's Dline to come all the way before throwing) and the defense played as if they were fresh.....
  10. As Central got tired, PAM made plays. I don't like the so-called 3-3-5. Looks like their running the 46 Bear defense to me. Corner's play man and the safety is like 8 yards off the ball. Like I said, during game situation, PAM got a safety and scored twice to Central's 1 TD but Central did all of it's damage in the controled portion of the scrimmage
  11. That's true but only after Central put 5-7 TD's on PAM in the controlled part of the scrimmage. And for all in 22-4A: Frog's little brother will be more that most teams can handle. 2 carries for 120 or so yards in the first part of the scrimmage against PAM......
  12. The drug store cotton soft defense continues in Geese land. Ball ain't no slouch but y'all better improve Mr Geese Fan....
  13. Duh lol. If Brooks runs a variation of the Spread, one would think he'd know how to defend it.....
  14. They dominated Clear Brook last year and went 1-9 so I'm not ready 2 celebrate just yet
  15. So dominant that he was getting pushed around playing DE against Silsbee..... And I heard Mr OLB wasn't all that special either......
  16. True. First year it was 7 fumbles after Brandon went 80 yards on the first play. Last year, they fell apart/bad breaks after going up 14-0. But hey, that's football
  17. I just have a good feeling about what Rison will run on offense. He'll make good use of that big Oline....
  18. I also saw the Greatest LB west of the Mississippi ranked 131. Sounds like from the Silsbee scrimmage, he needs to be like 531.....
  19. You beat them, especially Nederland, by running right at them and that what Rison does(it's his offense he brought to Central from Arlington Lamar)
  20. I guess you ment Ozen and Central will make it..... Anyway, the average poser on this board keeps picking Ozen around 7th place as if they have a history of losing seasons. I recall 2 with last year being the 2nd. I also recall, each time there was a coaching change, a playoff spot and or district championship came. Be very wary of the 1-9 Panthers with a 9-1 JV plus a player returning from Kelly to work with. After all, Rison was part of Central's quick turn around from 1-9....
  21. HB3 should get the start. He's paid his dues. When called, he would be facing 3 and 20 situations and kept his composure. Sometimes a first down, sometimes not. I know my little cousin Chase needs to be in camp.....
  22. Glad to see Regette(sp) back among the fold. Too bad Randle couldn't join him but hey, I'd rather have kids that want to play for the Blue and Gold than not....
  23. I was at the Nederland/SFA scrimmage when ol' Ed Peveto was there scouting my boys. I enjoyed my talk with him. Great coach and his Trojans made him proud that year....
  24. I always laugh when the PN-G's of the world fanatics boast of all this so-called 'speed' their players posses. My question is, if all this speed exist, wheres the 4x100, 4x200, etc relay teams? The only kid I know that could run with guys like Franks was that kid from Vidor. He finished 3rd in the 100 behind Chopper and Franks. Everybody else is just full of it. Stop hyping those kids up on the net and just let them play......
