LCM *****. That is all you LCM fans need to know. Everyone else already knows it. Seriously. Good luck this year. I could not help to stir the pot a little. ;D. I think LCM will have a good team that will compete for a playoff spot this year.

Not calling you a LIAR, but wondering how you would be in on high level staff decisions... freakin hilarious. Although, the decision wouldn't surprise me as Neumann WILL get the best 22 players on the field.... period.
You ever think that maybe the poster is connected to Forney in someway.......freaking hilarious. Nice callout when you are the one that has no clue.

Are you blaming everything that happened to Port Arthur on white people?
You are correct. I graduated from TJ in 1984, lived there till they put a fence.....yes a fence around TJ. Why did they do that? Did it have anything to do with combining all the high schools to one? All you folks that want to see Beaumont do well should take a drive to Port Arthur. Drive down gulfway drive and check it out. See if it is starting to look similar to Beaumont. If it is (and it is), something needs to change.
I would suggest people drive to Fort Bend ISD and see all the new construction since 2000 which includes 4 new high schools. And Trippy, it's called White Flight. Alot of you left PA after the layoffs in '82 and '84.....
You finally see the light.

The support or spirit was down the last years in the Burnet era who IMO is the face of the PNG Athletic Program.
Talk about bitter. Get jealous much? -
I hope it is not a 2:30 start time for Texas-Nebraska......... Thanks Coop.

[Hidden Content] Seems like there is some disparity in the sizes and weights of the Brenham o-lineman on the roster and what was reported in the panews.
Anybody know of any links where I can see "expert picks" over this game and others?
I saw a link here to dave campbells site where his writers made picks. I am not sure how to get to it.
Ya, if it's raining, y'all should have the advantage, though I did see Brenham put up 28 pts (all passing td's) and almost 300 yards in the air, in a rainy/windy game earlier this year. The defense it was on wasn't as good as talks but it was still impressive. They stacked the box, thinking we would have to run, due to the conditions. They surprised everybody when they came out passing.
Did Jarrett Lee, R. Roberson, Ahmad Howard, Luke Poelmann, and Brandon Collins all play at the same time? I was thinking back and that was quite an assembly of talent.

That has slowed our offensive stats.
I only posted stats to show run / pass ratios for anyone interested in what type of offense can be expected. The two teams are very close statistically considering points per game.
I know what you were doing with the stats. You think this will turn into a ground game if the weather gets bad ? If thats so, then advantage to the NDN's.
I would think so.... Running teams do not scare me......play action or double moves on a slippery field covering very good WR's does. That said the defense is very disciplined and Dunbar can play with anyone regardless of their rivals ranking or future college destination. If he played on a team known to produce D-1 talent he would be getting a lot more attention right now.
Tc35, how can either team be a "clear underdog"? PNG has great fans, coaching, discipline, they are undefeated and #5 in the state. Brenham has D1 talent, coaching, was ranked 10 going into the last game of the season and has been in this position the last couple of years. They look pretty even to me. Can't wait to watch it go down.
tc35 is taken the win-win route on this one. If PN-G loses then he is right in his prediction. If PN-G wins as a fan he gets what he wants. ;D Seriously......I think we might be a slight underdog to push based on statewide "experts" picks. Only one of four Dave Campbell writers picked us to win this game. I think it will be a close game won in the fourth quarter.
Akifan94, thanks for the reply, and a pretty good scouting report on the Cubs. About the crowd, I am well aware of how PNG travels. I still remember back in my day watching the Indians in those playoff games in the Dome back in the late 70's. I was awestruck by the sea of purple. But Brenham will represent well. Everybody on here keeps talking about PNG not getting respect, but if anybody knows anything about high school football, they know about the tradition PNG has. This is going to be a good high school playoff game, both teams have been ranked high in the Greater Houston area all year. This may have been a down year in our district, but all four teams are still playing. The Waller game was simply one team being hungrier than the other. Brenham had already clinched the district, and Waller was playing to get into the playoffs. The Cubs led 14-3 midway through the 4th quarter when everything went wrong. The Bulldogs rallied for two late td's to pull the upset 15-14. Brenham will be a little more focused in this one. The only thing wrong with your scouting report is that the Cub d-line is not big except for Malcolm Brown, a 6'3" 275 lb sophomore. The rest of the defense is small, but very quick. Should be a good one, best of luck!!
Thanks.......6'3" 275 makes any line big in my opinion.... ;D

Offense QB is very accurate. He does not make many mistakes and can run. He is not as good a runner as we have seen in Merka and Viverette, but he is not scared to tuck it in run when their is no one open. His only weakness is he tends to lock onto #81 and rarely looks elsewhere unless the play is designed to go away from #81. #81 is their best player. He is fast with good hands. He lines up at TE and WR. They will try to tun the ball more than they throw and have a sophomore at RB. He is good but will not be the best we have seen. He is under 500 yards rushing on the year but has a good average. They have a big line, no other details were mentioned. Defense Good size up front but they can be ran on. #81 once again is their playmaker on defense. It is best to throw away from him. Nothing outstanding about the defense. Good team speed and can get to the ball but they do not always make the tackle. Conclusion Think Central game. If we limit mistakes we have a good chance of winning. We make mistakes and we will be in a dogfight to try and win. Brenham does not turn the ball over very often and we can't have drives stall due to mistakes and penalties. To the Brenham poster. I am pretty confident that no PN-G has said that Brenham was mouthy, that came from somewhere else. Also, your own town paper sports editor is the one who said Brenham travels poorly fan wise. He claimed 1,000 to 1,500 fans could be expected from the Brenham side. I really could care less. This game is about which team executes, not how many fans show up.
Yea but that twelth man in the stands sure do help ;D
No doubt about it. But I think some people think you can just show up with more people and win. Brenham is a big-time program that has played a lot of important games. I just feel there are bigger factors to this game than who brings more fans.
