  1. You are right. My math was a little off. By the way....I just got through standing in line for over 2 hours to get my tickets. It is going to be an electric atmosphere Friday night.
  2. Just a few facts on our "weak" schedule for the OP. Barbers Hill is 3-2 (2-0 in district) There only losses were by 1 point to us and by 6 points to Lumberton. Crosby is 2-0 since opening losses to top ten Ennis and us. Texas City has played one game since their loss to us. The played Friendswood and lost 33-17. Texas City was winning this game 17-16 with 8 minutes left in the 4th. Friendswood scored twice late to pull away. The same TC team PN-G shutdown rushing the ball ran for 271 yards on Friendswood. The same Friendswood team that hammered Nederland 42-7. Nederland had 70 total yards in that game. So the fact is we have played a solid schedule up to this point and have came out 4-0. Nederland has played a tougher schedule and have had their butt's handed to them twice and then proceeded to get beat by maybe the worse team in the district last Friday. Good luck to the bulldogs Friday night.
  3. Example #99 why you should not post while drinking. If you have not been drinking, then damn.
  4. Good stuff. : If there are 20 more in the 7th grade you must be hiding them. I thought this would get the indians restless ;D I guess Nederland would have neever thought PNG would run 19 years in row either and they did. So 10 is not out of reach. Like I said, enjoy this Friday if the paper does not lie. I am holding onto my prediction 10 years in a row start in 2010. I guess you forget about CO wilson, they are loaded I hear C.O. recruits better than Hooks.

  6. Blowout or not, all I want is a win. Once again for the reading comprehension challenged in Nederland my last comment was a joke. My nephew starts both ways on Centrals 7th grade team and they have a hoss that plays RB/LB. If he continues to grow he is going to be a good one. They have a solid team all around.
  7. I wonder what the odds are of PAM ever dropping back down to 4A?
  8. A fan can dream right? ;D It is MCM week so I have to say something to get the Ned fans worked up. ;D
  9. try reading the entire post before posting your own.
  10. LCM couldn't stop the run. Someone explain to me how they were less than 15 yards away from the winning touchdown with less than 30 seconds left? They could have tied it but he threw an INT. Coop, pls let an Indian answer. 1. It wasn't the winning touchdown. 2. It was more than 15 yards. 3. Penalties at crucial times (bogus or not) kept at least two LC-M scoring drives alive. Don't look for PN-G to be that generous this week. 4. Our coach felt the need to force the pass (3 drive killing int's) when the running game was unstoppable. See note above. 5. Nederland does not have the athletes LC-M has. That might be a tough one to swallow but it is true. 6. PN-G never lined up in punt formation all night. Mental errors kept this game from being a victory by a wider margin. 7. If this team plays 4 quarters up to it's potential than Nederland is in BIG trouble. 8. Starting Thursday night with the JV game I think Ned fans will realize the tide has turned and the flood gates have opened for an era of PN-G @$$ whoopings of Nederland. I feel a Black Nights of the Neches (ala 1992) beating coming on.** **Just stoking the fire. I have a lot of respect for Nederland and what Coach Neumann does over there. I predict a 35-21 PN-G victory.
  11. LCM couldn't stop the run. Someone explain to me how they were less than 15 yards away from the winning touchdown with less than 30 seconds left? LC-M lost, so will Ned. Only explanation needed.
  12. You mean like Barbers Hill..... right? Exactly.....I am hoping for that rematch. I feel completely confident in BH beating PNG in a rematch, but not too sure about the other 3 options. PNG would be a cake-walk compared to the other 3. I think idor would have a hard time with what seems to be a weaker defense. So that would be my second option. Comedian
  13. Hey why so harsh.. B/C the Panther JV must have took that shovin a lil personal b/c they stuffed it down the Doggy Chute.... Bull Dogg JV scored with less than 2 minutes to go in the fourth and they were down 24-2.. Man that was harsh. This thread needs to be rated NR with no one under 17 allowed to read.
  14. png had the ball on the 1 inch line to win but lcm made a huge stop to preserve the tie. did the new qb play?
  15. 19 game win streak? Did they win state last year? If you are trying to impress me with a 19 game district streak you should know they play in the 3rd worst 3A district in the state according to txhsfootball.com rankings.
  16. Gas, Although I personally thought your post was good...logic and good sense have no business being interwoven into this thread. This district opener is big and hopefully the timid Bears will be able to be competitive even though they are going into this game as such a huge underdog. : I put LC-M and Vidor in the same boat. Beating up on private schools and 3A teams in non-district. That said, either team could put it together for four quarters and compete with anyone. I don't see it happening for them this week. I am going with the homer pick. PN-G 24 - LC-M 14 Are you actually trying to put WOS and Cleveland in the same boat as Kelly and St Thomas? No, but they are 3A teams right? And to be honest I had forgot they played WO-S. They did not do much against BC, lost to a solid WO-S team, and beat a solid Cleveland team. Like I said earlier. If they put it together for 4 quarters they can play with most teams in the district including PN-G. I still think we win.

  18. You forget about 99'. How many other area schools in 4A-5A besides WO-S have even made a state championship appearance in the last 40 years? West Brook once? What does Lamarque have to do with this thread?
  19. I agree with that. I just don't see why the VP fans want to run smack and then get pissed if it is given back some. They still have yet to prove they are an upper echelon school in this area. Barely middle of the road. That could change this year.
  20. VIDOR VIDOR VIDOR VIDOR VIDOR VIDOR VIDOR VIDOR VIDOR AAARRRGGGHHHHH
