They called for an evacuation of low lying areas in Cameron parish. That has nothing to do with SETX. With the storm hitting near Matagorda Bay those areas can see seas running 6 feet above normal which could cause flooding near the coast. Try knowing something before speaking on it.

Hey Coop.....It looks like from the storm model animation above that once the storm developed, the UKMET was the most reliable. It trended southward before the others with them now following it. Now it looks like it is moving back north with the trough maybe picking the storm up. Do you think the UKMET is that reliable, and do you think the others will follow it again and move back north? I talked to a meteorologist friend of mine and he feels like it could go either way and we are no out of the woods yet. What do you think?

This is their first game of the year and biggest rivalry. Don't tell me he was going to wait until this week to prep for the game. While I was there PAM ran it about 9 times. Of those only one gained more than 5 yards on a QB keeper zone read type play. Most of their running plays ended in the PAM back field. PN-G played alot better than what they showed at Jasper.

PN-G was leading 2-0 or 2-1 last I heard going into the last quarter of game action. PN-G looked good while I was there. PAM could not run the ball and had a little success passing.

According to the Bmt. Enterprise article they will scrimmage. Can anyone verify this? I wish we could play PA. Win or lose it would be fun to see an old rivalry return.

Here is how I see it...... If you start in the heart of Texas and head due East to the LA border, then turn due South along the Sabine river you will end up in Jefferson County. From there you follow the coast West to the Trinity River. Hang a right and go North up the river to Livingston. From Livingston head East over to Jasper down 190 through Woodville. From there continue East down 63 through Burkeville until your back at the LA border. Everything within and along that boundary is SETX. North of there is the Piney Woods of East Texas and West of that is the Greater Houston area.

He played DT last year. 6'1" around 280. I believe he had been held back so there was an age issue. He was a junior last year but I am not sure if his birthday falls where he would be eligible this year. He is a real good player and would help alot to go with Savant in the middle.

I see your point, but PN-G had an above average number of drops and it was not all on Tatum. That can be said for any QB, but I saw more dropped balls from our team than any team we played. And for what it is worth, I think PN-G is a playoff team. District champs? I don't know. I think we will have a strong running game with Wright and nearly the entire line coming back. As far as our passing game I think the team needs to practice pass blocking a little more in practice. Tatum never really had much time last year. Also, I feel like Tatum needs to make more athletic plays and hit some people on the move. Third, our passing playbook sucks. We throw a 5 yard out, a go route, and tight end over the middle. Once in a blue moon you will see a deep slant or a swing to pass to a back. That's it. No creativity. If all those things can come together than PN-G will have the "O" to win district. If we are relegated to counters and toss sweeps, I do not see it happening.
