Some of you Dayton fans help me out here. if I recall right, Dayton had an excellent running back that year also. It seemed like he had good size and could fly. Dakari was a great player, but he was not the only one on the team that night that could play. That was one heck of an offensive show there.

I can see your point. We started with a tough LaMarque team, played a playoff caliber Crosby team we should have beat, and finished with a 3A team that we beat up on. I feel like if we had gone into district 0-3 it might have had a negative impact on the team. Play some good tough games, but have a winnable game before you start your district run to build some confidence.

Mav....I think it goes both ways. I think you should start tough and ease up before you hit district. My only problem with Lumberton's pre-district schedule was the fans running around touting the 8th best defense in the state when at the time they had only played one good offense in 5 games. But, I will back off about that. Fans are excited and it was understandable, just annoying at the time.

What part of flipping for HOME and HOME do you not understand? Pimping must be wearing you down mentally. Ease up some.

I had meant to post this earlier but never got around to it. I just want to say thanks to the folks over at Vidor for allowing a prayer to be said before the game with PN-G. I know some people might not agree with it and their are laws and what not, but it was refreshing to me to hear a prayer coming over the loud speakers before a high school football game again.

Here is the scoop. Nederland threw the game to pay off a huge debt that was a result of the new scoreboard. Word has it the CEO of one of the major players in contributing to the scoreboard gambles on high school football. He called in a favor and threatened to spray paint it purple and white if Ned did not throw the game. This is all made up. I have no idea what MikeEast is talking about. I am bored and it shows.

My dad was the state champ in the 400 meters in high school. He also caught a bullet with his teeth.

PN-G - 99 Dayton - (-)14 The scoreboard only goes two digits high so they start deducting points from Dayton. My real prediction is PN-G 15..... Dayton 14 Dayton's fans are heart broke again when we go for two after scoring with no time on the clock. PN-G runs the Statue of Liberty play to win it.

My Christmas wish this year is now for Barbers Hill to be put in our district instead of Dayton so they can be beaten like red headed step children the next two years.

You need to put down the pipe 08. PN-G was just as loud as Ned at that game. If I recall, there was not a place to sit on our side with people lined up on the fence. I still think some people do not know the games start at 7:00 and not 7:30 this year.
