they moved it back . The raider coaches were all over that one. They had it marked there due to us running the 4th down play. But, apperntly, Credeur called timeout right before the snap.

Penny, their pass D was not bad. Tatum had lots of time. Their run defense was good, but Hemmings kept pounding away. He probably had more runs for less than 5 yards than he had over 5. Lumberton is physical but will need a better pass rush to slow Bellows down.

If I am thinking right I do not believe Tatum was sacked all night. Lumberton is going to have to put pressure on Bellows. He is very accurate and Asa Cardenas is lights out at WR. I do think Lumberton will be able to move the ball. It could be a game with a score similar to our with it going either way.

I think I can say Lumberton is the hardest hitting team we have played.

I will say that I feel that Lumberton played their "A" game. No turnovers. Not very many penalties. WE had one turnover, a boneheaded fake punt and about 5 false starts that really hurt some drives. Not our "A" game but "A-".

I was pumped after Hemmings ran over him, but I then realized the kid was not right when he headed for our sideline. I am not sure if I saw him in the game again. He definitly got his bell rung. That was one of the most violent plays I have seen in quite a while. I hope he is ok. PS ...Is Beard a soph.? he played a good game.

PN-G should run away with it, but it is at Vidor on homecoming and stranger things have happened.

I could give a crap less about pre-district myself. But don't base your defenses ability on games against 4 non-quality opponents. PN-G wins 24-10

Crosby is 5-1 and a good team. The more and more I think about it the less I am worried about the "L-Train".

I have not talked bad about Central or Dayton. I said they were quality wins. I also did not say you think Hemmings is not good. I said you said he was slow. I bring up non-district because that is where all your award winning stats were built that YOU keep hyping. Read the posts before you comment.

Here are the issues with maverick24 etc.... 1. He claims that Hemmings is slow. That is fine for him to think that, not a problem. I posted a poll to prove he his in the minority and I did just that. 2. Mav and others want to throw around all these stats about their defense being ranked this and that and dominating people. Here are the facts. They have played a Bridge City team that has not scored much on anyone. They have played a horrible Cleveland team. They have played a New Caney team that has won one game. That win came at the expense of a zero win team. They have played a Vidor team that will finish dead last in district and it will not even be close. They played Dayton after losing their QB. Dayton had no offensive identity in the game. They pretty much put Dugat at QB and ran a direct snap to him. They beat a Central team that had 38 points scored on them in the first half by Nederland. Lumberton has a good team. I am pulling for them to make the playoffs. I think it is great for the school and the community what they are doing. But let's be realistic here. If you want to make asinine comments, back them up. Don't come on here spouting off about your 8th ranked defense when you have not played but maybe two quality teams.
