I have spoke with a few who have scouted Lumberton and a ref from the Lumberton / Central game. The ref told me that Central gave up in the second quarter after being pushed around by Lumberton. He feels it is an evenly matched game that will come down to turnovers. The scouts felt like Lumberton is talented, but will not bring anything we have not seen. Anything else you want to know?

Read the statements above. The ranking is skewed. You cannot throw around state rankings of your defense when you have played two teams this year that could even score. You played 4 out of 6 games against what many consider very bad teams. So don't talk all this "8th rank defense in state" "so we are better crap" If you would have played LaMarque and Crosby and not Cleveland and Bridge City you would not have those numbers. Is that hard to understand????

Why is this so hard to understand. I am directing the preseason comments towards these supposed great stats. i appluad what Lumberton has done in district, but let's not get carried away with stats when 4 out of 6 opponents were VERY weak.

I do not have to make you look bad dodo. You and your fellow circus clowns do it for you. You cannot admit your "Great" stats were obtained by playing the WEAKEST preseason in all of 22-4A. Your preseason was a joke.

That is what your stats look like when you run up the score on the worst 3A schools in the area. What do you think our stats would look like if we would have played your pre-season schedule?

I do not think that. Run defense is our strength before pass defense is.

I believe Lumberton is a real good team. Jut not 20+ points better than PN-G.

I have to agree with number 3. It always amazes me how Nederland seems to have a very gifted playmaker at WR each year. Yoder, Butler, Askew, and now Cardenas. The kid made me a believer with the one handed, behind the back catch on the slant route for a TD.

I would like to here from the people who have watched us play live that can say Hemmings is slow. Lumberton fans...this poll was not for you.

But you do throw it well. Do you think the move was made to the spread due to the lack of size on the o-line?

And to you Maverick. Run defense is our strength. Ask Ozen.....43 carries for 99 yards. That included one run of 60+ yards for a TD. Take that away and you are looking at 42 carries for 30 something yards. Nederland had 21 carries for 70 yards.....3.3 per carry
