  1. Well, PN-G and Lumberton are the only fans talking right now. If you do not like it .. don't read it.
  2. Maverick 24 stated that Hemmings was nothing more than a "big slow power back". I beg to differ.
  3. Once again. This is not about who beat who. YOU are the one throwing out all these stats about top 8 defense and all that crap. Four games out of six were against very very weak opponents. Your numbers are skewed. You think Hemmings is slow? You are a fool. Watch the Ned game and see if he is anything but slow.
  4. Thanks....I was thinking he was his son.
  5. I have to go with Credeur if Lumberton keeps winning. Even if they just make the playoffs he should get it. I did not see for all classifications..... 5A- Stump 4A- Credeur 3A - Mangan 2A- East Chambers Coach Private- Long / Lefort
  6. I did not think they did but someone described it to me in a way that made it sound like it was the offense LCM used to run years ago with the three RB's.
  7. Here is why Lumberton just does not have me shaking in my boots.... They have beat a bad Bridge City team 48-7....So did Silsbee (48-7), Jasper (68-3), and Kelly (49-6) They have beat a bad New Caney team that has one won game this year against a team that has won zero. They have beat a bad Cleveland team that was also shut out by Kirbyville who gave up 40+ points to a one win OF team last week. The same Cleveland team that Hardin Jeff beat that was beat 65-0 last week and barely beat Bridge City. They have beat a Vidor team that will finish last in district. That is three games that was played against teams that PN-G's JV would probably beat. The Dayton win was impressive, but I would be willing to bet if they played again the outcome would be different. The Central win is ho-hum. Most Central fans will admit Central is not that good this year, or at least or not playing up to their potential. That being said, I still feel like Lumberton is a very good team that could beat PN-G. What I do not buy into are all these state rankings of their defense when they basically played a 4A schools JV schedule in the pre-season plus the worst team in the district in 4 out of 6 games.
  8. I heard Lumberton went to a three back set. Is this true? Are they running the veer offense?
  9. I could barely speak Saturday. I hope we can be as loud on friday.
  10. We have seen speed this year. You cannot be any faster than the teams we have already faced. Hemmings is not the entire offense. Lumberton should keep thinking that. Credeur knows better. P.S. I did not even think that the airboat concept would work. I forgot about village creek dumping into the Neches river. Ya'll might be in good shape after all. Watch the nederland game and see if you do not see the improvement this team is making weekly. Good luck to yall, it is going to be a very good game.
  11. is he related to the new DC or is he a longtime PN-G student?
  12. Raider87. I am beginning to think you do not know much about football. Please tell me what match-ups you see. Is it our very good sized and athletic o-line? How about the two 280+ d-tackles we can play? Do you think a 6'2" 225 Hemmings is weak? Did you watch Josh Wright in the Ned game? Have you seen our DB's play? Did you notice Mr. Driver running for his life all night? What about Kendrick Salter being shut down with the exception of one long run? Please break it down for me Mr. Football. I am beginning to think you have yourself convinced you have a team full of fictional Bobby Bouches that are going to ride into the REZ on an airboat and save the L-Town Trainwreck.
  13. Lumberton has my respect right now. I think it is great for the school and community to be experiencing what you are. I hope you lose Friday night but still make the playoffs. I personally would like to see PN-G, Ned, and Lumberton in the playoffs. We will see how it goes.
  14. If Lumberton wins I will promise now I will not make any excuses. May the best team win.
  15. I just do not see how you can improve in one year enough to go from being blown out at home to thinking you are going to blow that team out at their place. I am not saying Lumberton does not have a good team, or that they cannot win. A blowout. Don't bet the farm on it.
  16. Delusions of grandeur...is that you charlie murphy?
  17. And if you lose? And PN-G beat LC-M 42-13...what kind of indication is that as far as the Lumberton game goes?
  18. From which side. I have not seen PN-G run one that works yet.
  19. . I think it does matter when defensive state rankings and stats are thrown around. Ya'll have played one quality team this year and one decent team, the rest were cupcakes. I think Lumberton has a very good team, but I would not get carried away by stats considering the opponents.
  20. DJ did have a good game. I just hope Halliburton is not allowed to write about PN-G anymore. If I was Burnett I would not allow him in the fieldhouse.
  21. I think it will be close with Nederland playing into Ozen's strength's. But, if Ozen plays undisciplined ball, (turnovers, poor special teams) like they did against PN-G then Nederland will win going away. I say Ned 28 Ozen 20
  22. Also, congrats to Broussard, he played a fantastic game.
  23. Wow. that is good stuff. You should be calling the next game.
  24. The dude that wrote this is from Jasper, not PN-G. Pay attention there killer.
