You probably should look at who they have played before you spout off stuff. We have not even played Vidor. I guess playing LaMarque and a suprisingly tough Crosby team along with 3 district games would not have PN-G "battle tested. I think I want to see us beat Lumberton more now than I wanted us to beat Nederland.

I saw the whole thing and agree with the penalty. But it is not unsportsmanlike to run up to a player and stick your helmet face to face? It is not like he was just jawing which I have no problem with. He went after the PN-G player and got in his face. It was a direct response to the play before. If you call it one way, call it the other. Also, he did not stand there over him. He was kind of walking backwards with his hands in the air. Like I said, I had no problem with the penalty, just call it both ways.

There are three calls from last week that stick out in my mind. 1. The delay of game penalty on Schexnaider of PN-G. That was plain stupid. 2. I understand the personal foul on Broussard after laying a big hit and walking backwards probably jawing a little bit to the Ned WR, but the next play the Ned WR makes a catch and runs up to Broussard and gets in his face with no call???? In front of the same ref???? 3. PN-G kicked it out of bounds and it seems like Ned started on the 30 yard line. Ned kicked it out and PN-G started on the 35. Did Ned have a penalty I missed? It is supposed to start on the 35 right?

That was a different one. That one talked about PN-G playing country music in the locker room while Ned was playing rock.

he wrote an article about Jake Hemmings and said he was not playing good this year, wasn't going to make his "superteam" and used the word to describe the way Jake plays as well as the entire team as "nice". He literally used the word around 30 times while proceeding to mention how mean and aggressive Nederland was. it was a sorry article written about a good kid and good football player. Jake deserved better and I think he showed there was nothing "nice" about the way he runs.

He has gone into hiding. I think he knows he took it too far this time with his sarcastic article.

Thank you Ned fans. Both teams played well. It was a great game and I am pulling for ya'll from here on out. I do not mean to lash out but I have already read enough about us disrespecting the field by celebrating and how PN-G people were scum. Now our players are being labeled cheats. It is time to move on and cheer on our teams for next weeks opponent.

On Broussard INT he had inside position. The Ned WR came over him on the way down and got his hands on the ball. The play happened where there backs were to the Ned sideline. Hard for a Ned fan to say he saw it clearly. Do you think he was not paying attention? Do you think he ran just to be cute? The head ump had no idea what was going on. He was not blowing his whistle. That was a bull crap call. You see it every week where someone thinks a sideways pass could be a fumble and they pick it up and run. Is it called. No. That was the same thing last night. The umps were lost and had no idea what was going on.

That is what I saw. Broussard had inside position. He made the catch and as they were going down the Ned WR tied him up. Rule says it is our posession. I missed the Wright fumble. I was picking my daughter up.

The call was bogus. Nederland snapped the ball and the side judge threw a flag. The umpire never blew his whitsle are never waived his arms from what I saw. #85 intercepted the pass and kind of stood there. The coaches were hollering for him to run and he took off towards the end zone. He had no idea the play was whistled dead. He was just doing what his coaches told him. The back judge threw a flag for delay of game which negated a Ned penalty and they got to replay the down.

Coach Broussard is one heck of a coach.

The one handed catch by Asa was amazing. I think it boiled down to PN-G being too physical with a youn Ned team. Bellows has a very good arm also. I was nervous all the way until we could kneel it. Great game. The bragging rights come back to the good side of the tracks for a year. ;D
