I see the job posted on their site. It seems as if the AD will remain separate from the HFC?.

There's an old coaching saying..........."If you can't win with this year's kids, start playing next year's kids."

Does anyone know who I might ask as to where one could get the best Chinese food in the area?

I am sure there will be numerous misspelled words and grammatical errors, but they will have it in print.

Hardin (which is WEST of West Hardin, by the way) will be focused on February's realignment. Rumor has it that they have petitioned to be placed UP a classification, provided that they can compete in the JV division. UIL commissioners will debate prior to February's realignment, and should have an answer by late January. Meanwhile, on Friday, the Hornets will board the bus (Football bus hopefully) and travel West to Hempstead in search of the elusive district win. A district win is almost as elusive as the albino Boone and Crockett buck that has been rumored to be stalking the river bottoms near Rye. Unlike a district win, at least someone has reported seeing the albino buck. Off season plans are being honed, and you can bet your butt that the Hornets will improve in all areas of football. Off season should start for them next week, but will be postponed until after deer season. After that, however, it's on like a pot of neckbones. GO HORNETS!

Hull-Daisetta vs Houston Westbury
Bill Dauterive replied to H-D BOBCAT 55's topic in High School Football
HD is not playing Houston Westbury. Westbury is a 6A school. HD is playing Westbury Christian, a small private school. Big difference. -
...............and they have only won 3 playoffs games since this magical season..............THREE.........in 38 years. That equates to one playoff win every 16 years.
-
Don't forget the 7 on 7 team............oh, yeah.........and last years JV team.
-
Deer Park is still playing. All District results can't be public until all district teams have completed season.

Except that you and 8 neighbor kids cannot play 7 on 7. You would need 13 neighbor kids. That, my friend is the difference.

Let's not forget Al Bundy. The glory moment in Al Bundy's life: scoring four touchdowns in a single game while playing for the Polk High School Panthers in the 1966 city championship game versus Andrew Johnson High School, including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against his old nemesis, "Spare Tire" Dixon. Years later he still limps from injuries of that game, but still manages to drag himself to Gary's Shoes each day and be the best Women's shoe sales man in history. And he does it all without whining. Be like Al. Don't whine about old injuries.
