Finally stuck your foot in your mouth!  I've been laughing about that all year.  You know who those two skinny dudes are?  Wait for it....wait for it.....Marcus Malbrough and Billy Chavis!!! hahaha.  That is two of your West Brook boys if I'm not mistaken.  Anyway, how is it possible that they were so good in high school, went to Missouri and Arkansas State respectively...and are so dang skinny!!!  I mean, they aren't skinny for regular people but for football players/defensive ends?  What in the world.
I know where they're from....sad part is they looked the same when they left HS...now u understand?  The strength/dieting program?... :-\

LU would ask Barber to walk on, then tell him he will not be playing RB, then ask him to be a corner ::)
Or a wide receiver.  Then, other running backs would get hurt and he'd be moved to 5th string, then gradually move up the depth charts.  Then, he'd start the last 3 or 4 games and clearly outplay the previous starters.  Then, he'd lose his job in the off season and be relgated to holding for extra points.
WE GET IT!!! YOU DIDN'T GET A SCHOLARSHIP FROM LAMAR!!!  GO SUPPORT A&M!!! LMAO!!! ;D

Jr stuff is old school, but yes he made his choice and Jr is VERY happy, as is Mommy and Daddy...
I'm the one that hates traveling...LOL, JK...Missouri is a beautiful state.  Glad he's there and not in the middle of this ...but I love to throw it in every once in a while...after all what else is there to talk about? It's almost basketball season:(....

He was winning with kids Stowers coached... These are kids that learned only under him!
Good point, Also i dont know but i dont think stowers wanted to leave. I think he left becaues of some situations going on with the school administration..Now idk how true that is but its been going around central since he left, and I for one hated to see him go, we had some of our best teams under him, and his defensive schemes where pin point accurate evey game..

Washington was not a bad coach by the way even though that was stowers coached kids the 1st 2seasons he still won district and went 2+ rounds in the playoffs in his first 2yrs..so give him credit
Well I was good friends with one of Stowers former assistants who lived right next door to him.  What you stated was the truth.  Lambert was new to the school and had to be in total control of everything.  Stowers has a no back down and no kissing your a** attitude which was great for handling those boys who needed that kind of structure and guidance but she didn't like it.  There was a lot of friction so he used his playoff runs to get the Little Elm job which he has turned from a door mat to a playoff team.

Suggested and Stowers were 2 that I thought were good that got away.

Like I've been saying, my Jaguars don't need coaches that are buddy buddy with them and want to be cool.  The need military style,  hard nosed,  take no sh**, structured,  I'm the boss coaches.  Those kids shouldn't and wouldn't have just quite once they were eliminated from the playoffs.

All All I have to say is this pretty much solidified that a COMPLETE housecleaning will be in order before next year.  When I seen us get Embarrassed against Vidor, I knew that it was a done deal, which is why I could no longer stomach another Central game this year.

LU would have been better off hiring Craig Stump or Kenith Pope, who both applied for the job when Woodard got it. Both have exeprience coaching on the Division I level while Woodard has Class A, arena football, NFL Europe and JUCO coaching experience.

I wonder if Cocker applied (UTSA Coach)....There are some great Coordinators out there across the country...just got to get'em.

Ric Flair: to BE da Man, ya gotta BEAT da man!!!

District Championship is leaning towards LP until PAM can beat us. 2 hrs is a long ride back sulking...but you've become accustomed to that after playing LP.
LMAO!!  the last two Dist Champs in 21-5A

    NS - 2010
    WB - 2009

LP is more like COCO BE WARE...long way before u get to Ric Flair.. ;)
Who is the only team in district 21-5A that memorial has yet to beat? Yup...We STILL the man. Whoooooooooooow!  8) ;)
Congrats on ur first district title since the beltway was built... ;D
Ouch Sawrge, you give me honey and poison??? Haha. I have to correct Mr. Whitely, the last district championship was in 2000, the year we dethroned G-Ball from a 6 yr rule of 24-5A . I should know...I started for that team. But. We don't have a solo rule so far. We still need to take care of WB.
lol, just pickin...congrats this is a tough district...u never know what ur gonna get...the tailgaters will be out this Saturday...I will be out in MO, but we have always welcomed apposing team's fans to join our tailgate...north end I-10 side of stadium... ;D

You gotta consider what your recruiting against and the type of player it takes to be successful at the collegiate level. The premiere local guys are playing at Austin,Norman and College Station. The guys that are left are good high school players on average teams.Thats just not condusive to winning big time college football games. There is a reason Sam Houston did not have a loaded local roster.
I understand, and agree there are a lot of average young men left behind, but I believe u scrub ur roster out, then go get ur freshman class u plan on putting ur neck out for!  There are always guys left behind that can develop in to great college players.
  11.
Cmon guys really? Johson cannot pass the ball peroid, Pewitt is to small, and Bevil is good  but a bloody head case. Therefore go get a new qb in the fall. Not that hard and move to Johnson to db and if he dont like it hit the road bc he did  before. Simple solutions. Just my take.  8)
I agree with everything u say, but the fact that Prewitt is too small...explain to me if he was 2 inches taller how that makes him a better QB...

I do support MoVal...and like I said before like some of the young men on the LU Team and wish them much success...but since u want to bring it up again...the coaching sux...u see the same thing I do, don't know why u bring Jr into it...but I'm all ears.

I was watching the game on TV and happened to hear that Sam Houston didn't have any recruits that came from the local clubs while Lamar was continously calling players name from Lumberton,Kelly, WB etc. This is not a knock on local clubs but it is impossible to build a successful college program when you recruit that heavily locally.
I disagree.  There is plenty of talent in setx, juco's and at Lamar...just got to know how to use it, and how to recruit it.
