this is why i think they should of kept 3a in the small school poll.. u have to vote on that school.. in that conference if you ask me.. like evadale down there.. they aint the best in that poll either.
Agreed, 4A/5A, 2A/3A, 1A & Pvt....ok you do yours I'll do mine.. :D
 2.
Sarge, I knew you were a stand up guy when we met at the carwash.  Everybody else who came up through HardKnocks High, much respect. But........ What does that have to do with KRH's ability or lack thereof to coach?  What does that have to do with missed tackles, Dlinemen(Sloan mostly) not disengaging with the WB Olinemen to find the ball carrier?  Linebackers waiting on the play to come to them vs taking the initative(after WB ran the same counter play 4 times prior) to blitz to blow up the blocking? The Katy's and the Trinity's of the world win with tradition and doing the little things right.  PAM has yet to do the little things on a consistant basis.  When that happens, PAM will do well locally and in the playoffs....
I read you SFA, I still say, they have been doing something right....LET THEM LEARN FROM THIS LOSS....What if after the LP game it's: PAM - 42, LP 18...!  Is PAM still struggling or did they adjust?
 3.
I've been waiting for this to come out!!! How many places does Dayton move up if they beat Crosby impressively this Friday? Congrats Kirbyville, I bet that kind of chaps the glasses of a pair of 5A schools.
Well, the win over former #1 PAM was not impressive enough for WB( 42-15  :o) to move in to the #1 spot....I wouldn't hold my nose on that one.... ;)
 4.
Oh man!  SGT I brought you a little something you and a few of your buddies might need. [IMG][Hidden Content]]
In a head to head match up WB stays #1 all season. @ Itch...talk to me when you see top 5... ;D

 6.
I don't want to hear no stories as I grew up in a lot of situation's that wasn't very pleasant. A lot of kid's don't have the guidance and fall in with the wrong crowd's. Then the drug's and violence enter their lives. When you've faced near death situation's and then be on the other end of it is very chilling. You never know what a lot of these kid's are going through. They may have choices but sometime's it's not as easy as it sound's. I've heard that Kenny and a couple of other coaches are like father figure's to several of these young men. I know I have read stories about the coaches over at WOS doing the same. In area's like PA and Orange, these kid's need more than just a coach.
You're correct tapped....I left home at 13 and lived with several former friends of mine....I returned home for my senior year, but yes, I do remember searching for father figures and in high school it was my head coach(once i settled in Spring Branch)...It's quite a sad situation...my father saw me play in the 7th grade ( a football game), my mother saw one game too my sophomore year(a football game)...Guys, in addition to football, I played basketball, ran track, baseball(was really a pinch runner, but they didn't know that), and added soccer my senior year... like I said, I can relate...now days ... a Saturday may be like this: Take my Cross Country runner to School at 5 am Take Jr and my youngest to IHOP at 6:30 (if my young one has a home game) Drive within 70 miles(one way) to see my CC runner run (otherwise my wife and I split up to accommodate all three events). There's days where we are all at a CC meet....we all make a Little league game...we all make Jr's game... I would have loved to have that growing up...instead of feeling sorry for myself, I made the appropriate changes and hopefully will be carried out by my sons and infant daughter.. ;)
 7.

Its funny that everyone calls him lil Reyes.......Have any of you ever seen how strong this lil Reyes is...I believe he won the powerlifting title for his division and it was by leaps and bounds....Very strong kid.......Stronger than many twice his size!!!
LOL---Lil Reyes it has to be.  Daddy is the one who always gets the last piece of chicken.   ;)
That's the only piece I eat... ;D
 8. We kicked one in GALENA park....anyone kick farther?
 9. ttt......"I know what you said last summer...."starring Scooter!
 10. I understand "the way of life" in PA...I grew up in one of the worst neighborhoods in Houston.  I played against Yates, BT Washington, Jones, Furr, Kashmere, Sam houston, Reagan, Worthing....It is a different life than "the West End"...My kids look at me and have hard time believing their father has been stabbed, shot at, jumped, jacked, I cheated death many times....thank God, he granted me with the courage to be able keep them away from that life...it doesn't mean their "soft"...or "they ain't down"...I told them, I lived the life you'll never have to see, just take my word of advice when it comes to the street.....  When we go to Chicago, where I was born, there certain hair cuts a person may have... you can't drive thru certain neighborhoods with..If I can avoid the neighborhoods, believe me we do...If you got to drive down 26th Street in Chi-Town make sure you don't have a shaved head(that's me, but not by choice ;)).. respect their "Laws"...THAT IS THE LIFE THEY CHOOSE!!.......   I CHOSE a different life.  WESTEND1 probably knows me better than anyone else on this board.  You have to be willing to let go of the street...the street will tell you there's nothing else...there's no hope...People spend their entire life blaming systems and our government for their poverty....you have to learn to fight....fight till you're in tears..., then fight some more!! When all your love one's doubt everything that you're doing keep going, because don't look fast, but you're separating yourself, hopefully in the right direction!...nothing is easy....nothing is free...NOTHING!  at one point or another I believe our society began to feel the world owed them something....and I do believe that is how "ghetto's" were created...you can NEVER deny hard work....NEVER!  The kids in "the West End" work hard, the distraction outside of school...gees, their teenagers, everything is a distraction.  The more excuses one makes, the more wrong the person becomes...excuses will paralyze a man in a hiccup , staying focused and working to achieve your goal, will make a man stronger and a heck of a lot closer to success. ;)
 11.

The Ike game was not decided until the 4th qtr and the the Fumblerooskie took over. For the most part Dayton went toe to toe with all 3 of the first 3 games we played and could have won all of them if it werent for the turnovers. But that is part of the game.  I believe Fort Bend Elkins will go farther than Ike this year and the final in that one was 8-3 and Dayton was in that game until the last minutes. Dayton can hang with anyone, ask Quandry Diggs.  8)
Look, the guy said that we want none of Dayton.    OK.  So you went "toe to toe" with IKE, and might have won but for turnovers.  If you guys are as good as IKE, we still beat you by 21. And that is if you guys play turnover-free ball.
IKE Rolled them.  I was there.  One of those scores that do not tell the whole story.  Was not even close.
:o :o :D :D ;D
Rank them what you want, but there is NO WAY they beat Westbrook, Memorial, or Central!!! This we know!
How do you know? Thats just your unprofessional opinion
I Professionally AGREE... ;D
 13.
You are debating on whether you could beat a 2a school.  You do not want any of Dayton.
:D :D...it's ok to love your team...BTW, K'ville is 3A
 14. I'm proud of the FANS that PAM has...A CRITIC I can't stand. :-X
 15.
This is hilarious.  Two large 5A schools are worked up and pouting because they might not get their way.  This reminds me of when my 12 year old son loses to his 6 year old brother on video games and throws the remote and sulls up.  His only defense is to bow up on the 6 year old and say oh yea I can beat you up.  I do not know much about the little schools in your area.  It does look to me that they have won the games that mattered this year when you two could not (I know you do not like to hear this word so I will whisper it...North Shore ). Time to suck it up and deal with it. Now if you would put Dayton where they belong in the ranks then there would be no issue of #1.
This is even funnier....the one no one pays attention to (I'll whisper it...Dayton) :o :D
 16. [move] Da' BROOK...NUFF SAID! [/move]
 17. PAM has a good program...they lost to NS and WB....ok...are you playing for a state title or would a victory over WB/NS suffice?...lesson learned, move on-get better, get ready for the playoffs!....I feel like playing my freakin violin with all this crying!...be a fan and stick with your program! or just be a critic and criticize all (I guess that individual would be perfect).   I've said it before, PAM minimum 3/4 rds...when you get to that 3/4th round and your facing KATY....Now you can measure your program. ;), IF you win, then you move on...If you loose, you've got a measuring stick to build on... ;D
 18. Your Autographed Bruce Reyes Jr  2010 West Brook T Shirt will be there tomorrow!!! I know how exited you are I had him sign it..."To my #1 fan" ;D
 19. Here's all the talking done by the BRUINS...on the field... ;) [Hidden Content]
Love the video, Mrs Rey!
Thank you... :-*
 20. I've never seen the other guys play...so, hard to comment...there are too many intangibles to take in to consideration...type of offense...I doubt they ran the spread in the 80's...maybe early 90's...so stats may be lopsided vs an I-formation/veer team(pass vs rush).  Team wins, playoff runs, etc..I would think you'd have to take a little consideration to the great defenses they played with....So, how can you truly measure all the great ones?....1 on 1.....I really don't think you can....either you won the big one ...or you didn't.  with that being said...the rest you measure thru playoffs...how deep have they taken their teams?....If anyone has stats, then you go to stats...then athletic capabilities... Although I did not have the privilage of seeing all these QB's play, I'm certain they were(are) all special in their own way. ;D ;)
 21. White Sox in 4 ;D ;D
