I seem to recall last year the dogs got beat by PNG early on and then proceeded to win district. You never know what's going to happen this early. Also you can't overlook Vidor..Hester had 17 Ks last night against Lumberton.

Isn't Dionte Forney ahead of Atterberry on the depth chart? How long will he be out? In essence, we are playing with our FOURTH QB. I think Atterberry got the start vs. Friendswood because we needed Dionte more on defense and Atterberry came in vs. Ozen because Dionte was out. Is this right or is Dionte not in the mix at QB anymore? Also, soph Corbin Carr (6'2 230)was a QB in 8th grade for an undefeated CO team. Does he factor anyomore at QB? Even if Dionte was healthy he is too slow footed. Corbin Carr is also very slow. They would get killed against PNG's defense.

PNG 35 NED 10 Problems with Ned run much deeper than the QB. No pass protection, can't stop the run and too many turnovers. Even with their 1st or 2nd string QB, PNG wins. The margin might be smaller but they still win.

Nederland always schedules its weakest opponents for Homecoming so we have something to dance about after kicking their sorry butts!

I hate to bring this up, and I maybe mistaken, but I believe Tyler injured his knee during the first part of baseball season. I am sure he is 100% but I would sure hate to think he might reinjure it. I know I will get blasted for even bringing this up, but I know how knee injuries can be. A broken bone will heal back stronger than before but torn ligaments are a different matter. Sorry again for bringing this up.
