Being new to orange county sports , I can honestly say I was so grateful to see such a fine player as Matt Hicks . He is a great young man, great values, and an AMAZING baseball player. I am so glad I got to see him play. Good luck  to him. He has a very bright future.

Today may have been one of the best days of my life.........but even though it was amazing nothing can change the fact that ou sucks.

To the Nederland High School Girls Soccer Team! All 5 of their seniors are All District Academic . Congrats to Jacie Bell, Lindsey Bombek, Austyn David, Amanda Ledoux and Lauren Washburn. Also, congrats to Lauren Washburn (my Roo ;))for walking away with  MVP for the 2nd time in her high school career. Best of luck to all the seniors. We will miss all that you brought to the game and will definitely miss  watching you play :'(

Wow. The games r great. Lots of talent. Its funny they look like they have played together for awhile. 

Good game so far. Lots of energy in the air as usual when these two teams meet. .....but I swear the guy sitting behind me is watching a totally different game than we are :)

I looked for the list and couldn't find it  :-[ We are looking forward to the game :)

Someone else started this thread....I commented. Am I a parent? YES Do I feel like a player who came back back from an injury that kept them out of the playoffs, had surgery, recovered and came back and played great should be recognized? YES I DO...and she was by getting voted All District by the coaches in the area. Do i think that the SETX awards will end up being anything more than a popularity contest...well, we will see. and like everything else, if ya don't like it, ya don't have to read it. Skip on to something you do agree with

[/quote] i hope you are joking.....There isn't a political voting system. There are people (mostly RC) who makes a good effort to get to games, find out info from coaches and uses that information to pick these kids. Be glad they even cover soccer as it still isn't the big sports at this time of year.
