I might make the trip out and catch this one.  Price has HF on the right track, but Anahuac is flat out strong.  Big big big day to be had by Albritton. (sp?) Anahuac - 35 HF - 14 just to play devils advocate, what if HF starts 2-0 and BH starts 0-2?  How long before the boys who ran Price out of town start second guessing their decision making??

Citizens of Beaumont better hope the BISD stadium does.  Umphrey has plenty of funds to justify building the stadium for Lamar, as far as BISD, they better hope this thing generates some type of revenue, or it is going to do for BISD what Ford Park has done for Beaumont.

Why would Livingston force Tullos to stay if he wanted to go elsewhere?? Seems to me that they wouldn't want someone around who would rather be elsewhere.  How will he explain this to his players......"I know I tried to leave, but I really want to be here in Livingston now so please play hard for me!"???

From what I hear Anahuac is loaded again this year.  I am expecting good things out of them, especially since Kirbyville will not be waiting in the 1st round. Newton is always good and EC returns alot of players from a quality team last year.  I"m excited about this district.  Can't wait for the 1st annual Barbay Bowl!!

Does anyone know if he is still coaching in SETX?  I think he was at HD early on in his career, then he went to Woodville, and I heard Corrigan after that.  Let me know if you know where he is located!

I agree that Anahuac has a chance against Newton.  They will definatey be number 2, and potentially number 1.  Barbay vs Barbay is going to be great!  I cannot wait.  START THE SEASON NOW!

[/quote] How do you know "just for the summer"?  I spoke with a coach at graduation that told me that their mom couldn't find a job here so she moved to atascocita cause she got a job there.

Evans will control it and win with his wrestling.  I'm sure the crowd will be very upset with this approach, but it is what Evans has to do to win.  These guys can say what they want, but the proposition of fighting for the belt after winning this fight will not allow either of them to take risks just to prove who can knock who out.

I heard Liberty and Hardin got in a pretty big brawl during a 7 on 7 game earlier in the week. These two teams are expected to play in the regular season this year for the first time in forever.  What are the coaches going to do to ensure that this type of thing doesn't happen in the game.  Furthermore, is any discipline being dished out to the ones who were involved in the brawl?  I hear both teams are continuing on as usual with their 7 on 7 schedules and moving forward like nothing happened.  Someone please tell me  I am wrong.

I am going to the Houston show on Saturday night.  Same card.  Good card.  I saw a WWE house show in Beaumont a few years back and the wrestlers they sent were mid carders.  At least TNA has sent out the studs (minus Hardy) for this show. I am excited.

you guys are excited about potentially hiring a basketball coach as your head football coach??  You should be appauled that they would even think about this.  Henry will have you running the dang oopty oop right out of the box.  He will be rooting NOT to make the playoffs so bball gets an early start.  If you guys make this hire it will be a bad day to be an oiler.
