Hope that was sarcastic Buc....I went to 5 home games. He didn't do much at all except waive fair catches on punts. They won't be missed.
really?  he was their top recruit, a parade all-american and blue chip athlete he was expected to vie for a starting spot in the wide open spread at UH in '10...he learned the scheme in a secondary role and it was speculated he would have a 1000 yard season... he was a true freshman...on a huge stage...it's impressive he knew when to call fair catch and actually catch it... i'd say they had something invested in him, and he'll be missed
Huge Stage?? U of H??  Maybe big stage, but I think the huge stages are in Austin, College Station, and Lubbock.  I hate to hear this about this kid.  He was an amazing player in HS.  I'm sure he is after a quick dollar, just like all the rappers told him he should be.
 2.
So changing to a new AD will solve HF's problems on the field and court???
Price's reputation not only as a football coach, but as an AD speaks for itself.  So, Yes, he can fix most of the problems at HF if he is allowed to bring his own guys in and operate.  HF would kill for the success the BH fans ran Price out of town for having.
 3. There is quite a hot free agent coach just down I 10 from you guys...DON PRICE!  Get his agent on the phone!
 4. Also, if you have a little extra time, and it is around lunch, you can head out of town about 10 minutes to the city of Ames.  It is right on Hwy 90 and at the 4 way there is a little restaurant called Cookies soul food kitchen.  Not much to look at, but some of the best eating I have ever had.  Buffet style, fried porkchops, fried chicken, greens, cornbread......trust me, if you are visiting, do not miss that place!
 5. wow.  I hit that one on the head.  Maia it is
 6. welp, the rash of bad luck continues.  Do they find another oponent for Anderson or do they headline BJ?  Sonnen couldn't be ready by then, but what about Maia?  His fight at 109 was not that brutal and he might be able to make it.  What do you guys think?
 7.

Liberty- Home Tarkington- Away West Hardin- Home
Hate to say it but these games will not prepare you for Newton Woodville EC Anahuac, need to play some competition that will get you ready for district play..
Maybe they'd like to win a few before gettin gin there with Newton, Woodville, EC and Anahuac.
 8. if you know how I can accomplish that, please PM me.
 9. it is about time Liberty and Hardin hook em up.  I have wondered for years why this game had never taken place!
 10. Lashley needs some real competition.  Wes Sims looked terrible Walker's opponent couldn't punch his way out of a paper bag. Diaz can't hold a candle to GSP Cyborg was the highlight of the whole night but there is no competition for her  (although the lawler comeback was amazing) There is absolutley no competition for Fedor in Strikeforce Just a few of the reasons Strikeforce will fold soon.
 11. Newton and Anahuac.  Anahuac is loaded coming back.
 12.
Still waiting to hear the rest of the Rebels schedule but just before lunch this is what I knew. Legacy Christian Deweyville Open Colmesneil West Hardin Open Open Coach Williams was on the phone searching for two more games for the Rebels.
Tell him to get on the phone with HD.  Surely they want to play Evadale.
 13. Somtimes I wonder what the coaches at SFA would say if they read some of the stuff Buckin Bronco posts on here.  Just hit the weights and books and leave the message board chatter to us sideline sitters.
 14.
People starting to realize the friendship and respect Coach Price has among his colleagues in the profession.  People are realizing the job he has done and got released.  If this could happen to a coach with a record of his accord, what is to say it will not happen to anyone else.  Just cause you can pay does not mean they will come.
you have hit the nail on the head.  If they will run Price off with his record, how can anyone succeed there?
 15. Andy Evans would be a great hire, but he is no pushover.  If that board in Mont Belvieu is looking for someone they can push around....they might want to keep looking past evans.
 16.
He will not have a hard time finding a job and $150,000.00 of house money why should he be in a hurry. Plus he can do what many Coaches do and retire and be a rehire with a heft salary. I heard there are plenty of skewls that are wanting to speak with him.
I have trouble offering any credibility to people who use the word "skewl" instead of school.  I too think there should be plenty of interest.
 17. I know there has to be plenty of interest. I am assuming that he owns his home in Mont Belvieu, so I would think that he would coach in the area.  I know Liberty could sure use him.  He might breathe new life into a dead program in Liberty.  Who else might like to get Price?  Any ideas?
 18. I wonder how good HD could've been if they would've allowed Huck to play a little more when he was there.  Maybe they would have played there this year if he would've been allowed to play QB.  He was limited to a very small defensive roll last year at HD.  I feel sorry for this kid.  3 high schools in 4 years for a very very very good athlete.  The kid got caught up in mom and dad's shuffle.  He will get a chance to play ball somewhere in college, but I agree, it will be on the defensive side of the ball.
 19.

It is the AD for the district.  He is a guy that was never a head coach or coordinator at any of the places he coached before he was hired at King.  But he will tell you all about the players he coached that are in the NFL.  Like anyone gives a crap.
Why are you getting everyone stirred up if he is a dunce?  SFAJack07:  I dont agree with the Price decision either, but you sir, are making yourself look foolish.  Posting your name on here then running down school board members and trustees when you are 20 or so years old makes you look juvenile.  Remember, this is your home, you come back here often, you don't want people to see you and immediately think of your childish comments on here.  Have some class. As I stated earlier, I think Price was doing a fine job and we had no reason to send him away, but since we have, we might as well move on to discussion about who we are going to bring in here.  I think we need someone young and energetic.  Tatum's Andy Evans and Kirbyville's Jack Alvarez come to mind....who are you guys thinking about?
I have just stated the facts is all.  I do come back to the Hill a lot and everybody knows I support Coach Price.  A lot of people in the community say that what I have posted is right and needs to be said.  It is childish how some of the school board members and the superintendent treated Coach Price just because he did not suck up to them.
I didn't say that what you were saying wasn't true, all I am saying is that you look foolish for being the messenger.  I know you are young and think that you are doing the right thing, but take it from an old timer, you aren't.  You are painting a bad picture of yourself for people who do not know you.  You sound spoiled and bratty.  I know you are not, but that is the perception.  Please, take this advice and stick to the topic at hand and not board bashing.

 21. Many thanks to you all who put in the time to make this site work.  I can't imagine a day without reading these boards.  I don't post too often, but rest assured, I read daily....sometimes hourly!!  Thanks to all!
 22. I have always wondered why this guy couldn't find his way onto he field for D3 ETBU?  He is a freakish athlete that can jump out of the gym.  If you throw it near him, he comes down with it.  Congrats Tre' and good luck at Lamar.  If you get anymore info 55, keep us posted!
 23. Hey 55... Where do you get that information about Zach Fregia?  That would definately be a positive along with those 8th graders coming up.  Would'nt at all be surprised to see a Freshman starting QB in HD next year.  You know who I am talking about!  Great future for the cats!
