Let me know about the tailgating... I will be at Bowers Friday night, and Stallworth for Central vs Friendswood Saturday afternoon. I see a 6 pm kickoff for kville v arp, and a 1 pm kickoff for central v friendswood Are those times correct, those seem a bit strange. Someone please let me know.

Russell Roberts?  Andy Evans?  These guys couldn't hold Don Price's jock. BH fans, heed this warning.  You are playing in 4A.  You are outmatched week in and week out.  Your school isn't getting any smaller, and your athletes will fall farther and farther behind due to obvious reasons.  Whoever you hire will lead you to consistent 4-6 or 5-5 records for many years to come.  Don Price is a class act.  An offensive innovator.  A dedicated coach and AD.  You guys on the hill messed up, messed up bad.

Can't wait for this one.  I will be in Huffman checking out the new duds and taking in this amazing game.  Saw Coldspring last week in Liberty and they looked impressive.  WOS is..well..WOS.  They are good year in and year out and I can't call this game yet bc I haven't seen them play.  Cant wait for kickoff.  The REAL season has finally begun!

I would be careful about attaching Clay's name to a comment like that.  He may not want that in the media. Ps.  That right hand Fedor threw last night would knock anyone out.  Including Lesnar.  His chin is suspect.

Slack for coach of the  year??  Colmesneil came out of nowhere to be as good as they are.  I predict that they will end up winning this district by beating Evadale tonight.  Their coach is COTY IMO.

I have seen Liberty play many times this year and "Bucket" is not a D1 talent.  There is absolutley no way that there is any truth to what you guys are saying about UT and Oklahoma.  Good player but obviously you guys have never seen a D1 player in person before.  I keep seeing stuff like this on these boards and I have to wonder what the football IQ of most people on here is.  Not much IMO.

Lets not heap the hopes and dreams of the community of a very young kid before he even takes a varsity snap.  Geez.....

I'll be coming through Daisetta for this one! I dont think it is time yet to call these two teams "has beens" in this district.  As far as I can tell, WH has never been anything in this district and that goes all the way back to their battles with HD in 2A.  This is HD's district until Evadale wins more than one championship.  Look for the Bobcats to be back at the top next year.  Until then, I'll enjoy this small school rivalry tonight!

As long as Johnson can keep it standing he will do away with Koscheck quickly.  Johnson seems to be the only guys in that division that I see legitimately challenging GSP.

We might get to see that Barbay battle afterall!

Looks like my setx hs football road trip will take me through Daisetta this week.  I've always loved this rivalry, and when a playoff spot is on the line, it gets even more intense!...Bobcat Stadium here I come!

By not releasing the details of "teens doing what teens do", those of us with no knowledge of the situation tend to get ideas that may not be true. All we see is that he is suspended from school and there is a special board meeting called tonight to discuss the action. Sounds pretty serious to me. If it was a minor infraction, I would think, that the coach would handle it with a few extra sprints and then it's over. But special board meetings and hush, hush, antics scream of something more serious. Not trying to stir the pot, just letting you know what it is like on the outside looking in.

So since the WOS issue was in the Beaumont Enterprise today, according to your reply, it should be open for discussion today? Please Clarify. Post away, if it is in the newspaper. I personally could care less it isn't about football so I probably wouldn't open the thread. It has everything to do with football. Especially football in West Orange. When your University of Oklahoma bound star athlete does something that, potentially, could get him suspended for the rest of the season, it dramatically affects football perspective. That could be HUGE come playoff time when they will need him to be able to compete with the elite. It is a huge deal.

Once there is a board meeting and the issue is finished, soemone please tell us what he did to warrant a suspension.

I would like to hear "SETX SportsBroadcaster"'s take on this issue. It was after reading his responses and requisite threats to "lock" the PNG vs. Vidor thread that I felt this post had to go up. Just curious as to how you feel about it.
