Memorial vs. Houston Lamar Predictions?
James Mosley replied to KFDM COOP's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Lamar - close game but mistakes and playcalling from PAM kills their offensive chances in the red zone. Red zone play calling seems to be hurting them in many games. gotta go with Lamar but close.... -
He has a way about himself where he keeps the "double down betting scheme". Sooner or later he is bound to hit. He is also the one who said He would shut up if Nederland was .500 after 5 games. Don't expect that to hold true either. The way I see it as long as he keeps betting against us it's a sure thing we will be doing just fine. That goes for just about ALL the comments he makes about Nederland. Time and history proves him wrong every time. He is our best fan and he doesn't even know it.LOL

Ozen will be the spoiler this year. LCM has the team this year to maybe break into the playoff picture. Still gotta go with Nederland, Dayton and Central with LCM on the edge. Watch out for Ozen!

Waller And Nederland Predictions
James Mosley replied to BigBullDog4life's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Nederland wins by 11 points. Zach how long till Cameron can go all out. Hopefully the bi-week before district will help give him some time to heal. -
You really want to know, I know it's not because you are getting a little scared so soon BMTSoulja1. LOL This is my take and opinion. I like the Bellows kid, I think he has great football smarts and understands the game. Confidence will take this kid to the next level, and the coaches know how to build that, so I say Bellows will pick up the offense and do just fine. He may make mistakes and bad decisions in the learning process but that will be O.K. too. Ryan being out was a huge blow but with time, and that is what preseason is for, Kirby will impress many. Give him time!

Let's try this again, don't know what happened to my last response. Call me titan, 719-6928, I'd like to talk football with ya. Your harrassing won't bother me!!!!!

Don't recall any LaMarque first teamers leaving the field in the 4th quarter last year titan. LaMarque pretty much had to keep the first team on the field the whole game is the way I remember the FACTS! Now your opinion is always different than facts so I respect your opinion. Back to the topic. Nederland takes it by 7 points, low scoring game.

Besides Hall who is in the backfield for Central? My money is on Derrick Hall taking many snaps out of the shotgun.

Just funnin with my PNG boys. I think PNG has a good chance with their skilled players to make a decent showing of the spread.
-
I am hearing the same thing about PNG going to the spread, it gets them in their punt formation quicker!!!LOL

Who Will Have The Best Passing Attack In 21 5A?
James Mosley replied to KFDM COOP's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
I never said you were talking about Lee. All I was trying to say was some people post how others will not do good because of a suspect qb when they themselves have an unproven suspect qb. Lee on top in passing followed by WB because of the passing balance to RB's.....Don't put alot of stock in THE SPREAD in Nederland. Won't happen. -
Who Will Have The Best Passing Attack In 21 5A?

Good post panamamyers, some will post the reason for failure is a teams suspect qb while they themselves have an unproven suspect qb. Lee on top, WB balanced and will still post good passing yards. -
Who Will Have The Best Passing Attack In 21 5A?
James Mosley replied to KFDM COOP's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Agree with their running backs why throw, I look at WB like I do Nederland, balanced, they lead in passing and running, or close to the top in passing, thats why #2 passing in district, #1 in rushing no doubt. -

Baytown Lee will lead that district in passing. Attempts alone will keep them in front. West Brook 2nd. The rest ??? -
Whats the longest punt you've ever seen?
James Mosley replied to mountaindew13's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Cody Deitz for Nederland punted one over 80 yards against PNG a few years ago. He punted us out of trouble the entire game. I believe he got player of the game for his punting. -
what is the longest FG you have seen in hi school
James Mosley replied to skipper's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Curtis Parks for Nederland made a 55-yard field goal. Not only did he split the uprights, he cleared the cross bar by at least 10 yards in recording the longest field goal in school history. This was against Silsbee. Curtis went on to punt for Sam Houston. -
BEST RB FROM DISTRICT 22-4A IN 2007
James Mosley replied to NHS82's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Hussey did not play against Nederland, don't know why, he was on the sidelines in his dress clothes. -
BEST RB FROM DISTRICT 22-4A IN 2007
James Mosley replied to NHS82's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
I forgot about Hussey from Lumberton, he should be in the rushing race, also the Hemmings boy for PNG unless he splits too many carries with the tailback. -
BEST RB FROM DISTRICT 22-4A IN 2007
James Mosley replied to NHS82's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Derrick Hall from Central will probably lead the district in rushing. Cameron Bass from Nederland is who I will be pulling for! -
Never said it wasn't a tall hill to climb......but for over 10 years the climb gets done!!!!Mark it down our defense will be much, much improved from last year! Our offense will be O.K. once district starts......We will continue to be a top three team in this district with Central and Dayton the top dogs to beat........Thin I agree but still O.K. You need to predict with your mind and not your emotions......Keep those girly emotions for the halftime show!!!!lol

2005 season Nederland replaced QB, fullback, five offensive lineman, tightend and one wideout split time opposite Butler that is nine on offense alone. On defense we had two defensive lineman, two secondary players and zero linebackers returning so that equals 7 new players on defense. 16 new starters in 2005 and still made playoffs. Offensive starters - Butler, Mosley, with Whitaker playing wideout some. Defense - Mohica, Butler, Whitaker and your favorite player Dravannti JohnsonBlows you theory out of the water. The one thing that you guys forget that returns every year - our coaches!!!!!!!!!!

Look SFA85 you been wrong for over 10 years predicting Nederlands fate.....Give it a break and stay with something we all know you are knowledgeable about "male cheerleading outfits".....
