Nederland 17 Central 13 I do believe we have the best defense in district and I really do believe we are back to our bread and butter offense. Always was partial to having a fullback blocking..... Very good post GoDogs27, couldn't agree more. Coach Spell is a class act as a coach and person. Nederland is blessed to have this man here. I say Livingston has their lowest offensive output for the year tonight.

Nederland has the better defense, Livingston has the better offense. I say defense wins this one, Nederland stops the run and makes them throw, Nederland wins. Player for Player, Nederland has some of the best on defense, gotta brag on one player, Corbin Carr, #99, watch the kid play, getting better every week. Nederland 20 Livingston 17

I have one question, where is smitty is all this? I know he is just waiting for our defense to give up big yardage and the game. Nederland 17 BH            14 Nederland needs to be able to run in the middle to win.

Penny is dead on right with everything. Sad to say but I tell young men we hire who are moving into our area with family to raise their kids somewhere besides Nederland. Currently Nederland does not understand how to prepare for the future. Very sad.

Riley signs with McNeese, his Dad signs with Pitt as the new QB coach. Miles apart, going to be tough to see his son play....

Coach Dodge will be on the sidelines or in the press box at UT next year working for Mack Brown.

I'll say it one more time. Livingston is man for man a better team than us. They have four players on offense we can not catch is given a step. We will load the box with all we have and make them beat us throwing. They will still get huge amounts of rushing yards. What in the heck is a DC suppose to do beyond that. Answer that and I'll listen. DC game plan will be rock solid. If you can't hang because of simply being out manned physically what are you to do. That is what makes Nederland Nederland, the players play up with good coaching. What happened to the great Faircloth this year. Funny how a few linebackers being gone at PNG can turn their #1 defense from last year to last or close to last this year. Same Coach over there too. Pick another excuse smitty, we got a winner in our coaching staff, let it go. So what again would a good DC do against Livingston to stop the run.....And tell me again why PNG went from #1 defense to last or next to last now.....have some more peanuts smitty.....

smitty you can take the may be right out of your statement. I promise you I'm right and I know for a fact I'm right. Now move on, I agree the defense gives up yards, heck look at your state championship games last year is 5A and 4A, lot's of yardage given up by some pretty good defenses but one team still won it all in each division. Yes, defense wins championships but the way I see it the team who scores the most wins EVERY FREAKING TIME....
