When was the last time Nederland went undefeated in district, anyone know ?  Has to be more than 50-60 yrs.  That's a good reason to be fired up for Ozen come friday night.

One thing that bugs me about teams that apply alot of back court pressure is they all hold and act like they're not fouling.  They put their hands on the hip of the offensive player to control that first step, even when the offensive player is running up the court the defensive player will have the back of his hand against the pelvis to control the speed. I wish they would enforce the holding and hand checking and it would stop or players would foul out. Sorry had to get that off my chest

And a lack of respect for a good Nederland team

If Nederland plays like they did the 1st and 3rd quarters of the Livingston game it won't even be close, if they play like they did in the 2nd quarter of the Livingston game Central will win big.  I guess we will know tonight.

  I don't think either side would push for this to be done unless someone could show the districts how they could make more money off of the game.  I think it would become bigger than it already is and make more money for the schools if it is done right.

This is a great way to promote the new Provost-Humphrey Stadium for those who have not seen it. I think we should move Mid-County madness to Lamar, and move it to a saturday, all day tail gating and 20,000 seats would be great, might even give some who haven't seen a PNG-Nederland game a chance to see what it is all about.

It seems easy to me if Texas A&M is offering you would go there over SFA or Lamar. Ford is listed @ 6-1, 190lbs, plenty big enough to compete at that level, unless your scarred of the competition at A&M, it's a no brainer, if you get to A&M and it doens't work out transfer to Lamar or SFA. I have not seen him play in person, but he seems really tallented and I always assumed he would go to a good D1 program, I'd hate to see him sell his self short;  if A&M is on the table, you gotta take it. Best of luck to Ford where ever he chooses.

All of you guy's that think Coach Stewart is going to still give halftime speech's and call play's from the press box are mistaken, when you turn over the football head coaching job you are giving up control of the team. You may have conversations with the head coach from time to time but you will not be involved in the game planning from week to week games unless you are ask and you will not be calling plays, you will sit back and let your coaching staff coach, there is a reason he is retireing from coaching and it is not so he can show up on friday's and take over.

Those are really good passing numbers for a wing t offense. Most schools running a wing t would barely get 6-800yds for the season.

Alfred - Central - Defense Ford - Kville - Offense   All good players and deserving but these two are at the top.

Great list, thanks for not watering it down by trying not to over look someone. Any chance of getting them all together for a group photo on a sunday afternoon, just a thought.

There are alot of 3a schools that can play with LaMarque, everyone thought WOS would have 4 titles by now in 3a and they don't even have one, sometimes LaMarque is great, sometimes their not. While they would beat 90% of 3a teams, they may not win the title every year.

Carthage and Coldspring can be seen on cable 26 FSN,but the rockets play at 7:00 on 26, the cable guide shows LaMarque vs Aledo @ 8 pm on FSDC CH 307. It is a seperate cable package ch 300-318, I think it is about 6-10 bucks and after bowl season you can cancel, there are several bowl games on these channels over the holidays.
