Thatlooks good for another week and we will see what happens, in this district anyone really can beat anyone on any given night, this is gonna be a fun district race and I think Nederland finds a way to make the play offs.

Our defense is young and PNG is a good offense, we will continue to get better as the year goes on, staying healthy would help. I'm sure Livingston is going to have some rushing yards this week also but if we win who cares.

I think it will be a Bridge City vs PNG Purple Senior Super Bowl

this year will probably come down to tie breakers for 3rd & 4th playoff spots

All of this is news worthy, this is high school football in texas. I agree it should have been handled in private but you can't blame the news for reporting it, that is thier job.

I've heard other things that are disturbing in some ways and when coach Neumann said he had to get on to Dionte for behavior around teamates it makes these things seem more believable.  I heard he was laughing at the Barbers Hill game because they where losing and that pissed off some people, I would have been one of them if this where true, but I can't prove it or was he laughing about something else and someone took it the wrong way, we really don't know what pissed off Andrew to the point of makeing him leave the team, and we don't know if he will regret his decision later.  I would have probably have kept Raines at QB and played Dionte at DE/TE , Carson had three games under his belt and was improving, but I don't get paid to make those decisions.

Leaving the team because you disagree with a coaches decision is leaveing for athletic reasons, leaveing because your mom is deathly ill in another state would be personal reasons. This was 100% athletic reasons.

That's why I have them winning it all this year.

That Senior Black defense has been the best in the league the last two years. The defense this year can stand toe to toe with anyone, and they will be ready to play saturday, but I don't know if they have the speed this year to run with the faster teams in the league, the past two years Senior Black was the fastest team around.

Why not, LCM plays no defense, they just out score you

 Yes. But I do think the district race is wide open exept for Vidor, sorry Vidor  I can't see it , but everyone else has a shot Ozen, Central, Nederland, LCM, Lumberton, and Livingston with PNG probably on top. Probably the most balanced district in the state.

The big game this week in the senior division is PNG Purple and Lumberton Blue, should be a good game. Bridge City seems to be the front runner in the senior division, I think everyone else will be chasing them for the title.
