Kirbyville....a lot of talent, size and a much better coaching staff this year. Last year we lost a ton of talent, all of our coaches and had to make due of what we had. It a new ball game this year and Newton and the rest of the teams can sleep on Kirbyville if they want.

Badsanta, no they wouldn't. Again Silsbee Have no good offensive scheme so how would they blow a quality team out?? You guys have a lot returning but a team with an average defense would cause a lot of problems for y'all. I'm not a Silsbee fan, but I was pissed to see y'all lose to BC the way y'all did. Why in the heck would you run the spread at the 1 yard line when you got a huge running back to push it in?? I don't understand that!

Anafanatic, when the last time EC or Anahauc beat Kirbyville??? You guys gonna get thumped by Kville and just dnt know it. Only team got a good chance of beating us is Newton and I look for an upset there since they are highly favored to win district.

Silsbee have a good qb and running back, BUT they don't run the right offense for the personal they have...unless they made some changes they outta there! Kirbyville a much better team this year that's why I said what I said.

Who is EC?? Anahuac who??? What is Woodville?? Kirbyville in a hard fought against Newton for the crown.

Tiger voice and the rest of the Kirbyville haters, I watch Silsbee get totally dominated the year before by Kirbyville. Lefredrick Ford did what he wanted against those struggling Tigers. To be honest, I believe Kirbyville would spank Silsbee this year. I watched Kirbyville practice this morning and they have a lot of size and speed at the skill position and the new defensive coordinator have this Kirbyville team in the right direction with those formation he's running.

I watched Silsbee struggle against Newton last season and then turned around and got shut out by Bridge City. If they continue to run that BS offense, they're not going anywhere. Silsbee seem to have a Stout defensive line similar to what Kirbyville had a few years ago, but their offense sucks. You guys have a huge running back over there and not utilizing him correctly. I tell you what, send him to Kville and watch him run over folks out of the Wing T :)

EagleFan01, it's obvious u don't know what's happening down here in Kville. Newton beat our underclassman the last time we were 2a, but took a loss on dem Friday nights. My point is never rely and expect the same transition on Varsity. Bottom line, Kirbyville have a better coaching staff this year and a lot of talent. Look for Haywood and Hughey to tote the rock this year and a solid defense to go with it.

What does a JV team have to do with this? Kirbyville gonna beat Newton by at least a touchdown or two. We don't care how stacked y'all are this year, you gonna take an "L" by dem cats. Offense sale tickets but Kirbyville defense gonna win this district.

This is comical...like I said it be Kville and Newton for the crown. Kirbyville is still a threat and you guys will find out when they play Cleveland first game.

AggiesWeAre...not scared my friend, but saying Kirbyville not gonna make the playoffs is the funniest thing I've heard in a while. Never underestimate them Cats....oh by the way, I got a Benjamin Franklin that them boys gonna whoop everybody in district. Newton have Kevin Shorter and that Dean kid which are good players while Kville will pose a threat with 4 speedy backs and two good receivers to throw to this year.

Newton and Kirbyville will be a battle for district...no way EC or Woodville beat Kirbyville this upcoming season. We have loads of young talent coming up and gonna be a force to be reckoned with. KingJames123, Newton and Kirbyville played a good game last season regardless of what the scored showed. Kirbyville had a problem with too many penalties in the red zone and should have score more than 19 points. We had several td passes dropped, but it's all good. It will come down to these two teams for the district I do believe. You guys will be facing a better Kirbyville team this season, that's all I'm gonna say.
