By interviewing other coaches the school may find a coach that would be better, or they may be more sure the guy on their staff is the right guy. Having these interviews are never a waste of time for the school or the guys being interviewed even if they don't get the job. Just my opinion.
I 100% feel ya on that.
 2.
hate to spoil it but heard neese is going with jack
You hope he goes with Jack. We find a decent defensive coordinator we will be just fine. Haywood playing Qb next year.
 3.
yes it is good yards running but you got to look who they played about 4 winning teams out of the first ten games jmo
What ever bigdog90! Kirbyville has been a force to be reckoned with year in year out regardless who we played. Always had size, always had speed at the skill positions and oh yeah....always had heart BIGDOG. ::)
 4.
Any word on this job?
I would say Coach Neese. He have been our offensive coordinator for years. Hopefully Coach Vanya doesnt leave...he's just of a good Defensive coordinator as Coach Johnston who is now a head coach in Newton. I just think we need a couple more quality coaches to help assist with our program.
 5.
Any coach would be looking to better himself. Kirbyville is definitely not the "end-all" type of job. I don't see anything wrong with Jack trying to get a 5A, 4A or bigger 3A job. As for the talent coming up at Kirbyville, I saw their freshman team play some this year, was not too impressed.
I agree about him betting himself, but as far as talent.....you better recognize! Kirbyville still dangerous.
 6.
Burman has it posted on Facebook that he will not be at Kirbyville next year. Haywood will be in the backfield IMO.
Im tellin you Vanya will be TE next season.
 7.
Also who would be in the backfield if not Haywood? Burman and ...........?
Smith,Jacko, Brooks and Irvine my friend. Vanya will be our TE to create that passing attack again with several others.
 8.

Sophomore Keiandre Haywood was sporting #3 at running back position this past season. Haywood will take over at the QB position next year. Cant wait to see how this speedy young man perform.
Your speculation is interesting but your facts are a little twisted.  Actually Haywood was sporting #2 this past season while #3 was being sported by Ervine.  I do think Haywood has played a little QB as a freshman but they also have the Vanya kid who is a QB and a real thrower... he was #15 and the all-district TE last season.
Jackhammer you right i got their numbers mixed up. Yes Vanya is a athlete, but will remain TE next year or maybe alternate with Haywood. I'm thinking we'll still be running the Wing T with spread formations as well next year.
Where and how do you get your information...lol
Trust me this is not a rumor. Haywood will be a beast next year at QB.
 10.
he'll look good in a Brownwood jersey  ;)
Yeah right SCOOTER!

 12. Kirbyville will have alot of young talent coming. Should be interesting to see how next year group of kids respond to all the rumors im reading. ;)
 13.
i agree 100% j dog but what im hearing i want some one that wants to stay and i believe jack is another stepping stone think he wants to move up to the next level.chubrub kirbyville dont have nothing coming up our freshman team beat there jv pretty bad and i dont no what else they have but what i hear not much.thats why jack wants to leave.
You are in for a rude awakening if you think Kirbyville have "nothing coming up" next season. Were you the guy that said Kirbyville was down this year before the season even started?? Kirbyville will have more experienced players coming back than your dawgs my friend ;)
 14. Hey Dawg 4 life...same goes with Jasper. Yall are blessed with talent every year, but under achieve as always. As for yall winning the series thats been well over 3 or 4 decades ago. Lets talk about whats happening in this generation. I know yall glad we losing some key players this year, but still have Jacko, Irvine, Haywood, Brooks and Smith who will be packing the rock next year. IMO Kirbyvillle will still be dangerous  next year so watch out.
 15.

Jasper will beat Kirbyville next year. But they wont run the score up.
LMAO.....Jasper looked extremly weak, they will have to make some dramatic changes before you make a believer out of me. You also said yall was going to beat us this year......hmmmm let me see. 63-8 dont that sound familiar?
now as i am LMAO let make something familiar to u and all kville fans(because i know yall try to block it from your minds)  35-8-4  the overall record of jasper/kville games.  we could lose the next 27 years in a row before yall even things up.......lol now that it is weak!! yes yall have had a helluva run the past few years due to being blessed with some very talented young men, so hats to you for that!! so when yall doing all u smack talking (as yall like to do) i remind u that your football program isnt and wont ever be what Jasper's is and that being one of the the top in the entire state at any level in all time wins and playoff appearances............!
16.
lol are you serious?? slap yourself, Jasper wins this district next year
I bet you wont put no money up. Kirbyville will be in a rebuilding year and still thump your dogs.
 17.
Had a very good junior year at the new qb position, next year he is going to be a monster ;) jasper wins 18-3a next year
Kirbyville will be no slouch again my friend.....Jasper has a long way to go before they "win 18-3a" next year".
 18.
You IMO Gilbert wasn't the difference come on now you guys must don't know football he put up 235 rushing yards against the suppose to be number 2 are 3 ranked team!!!! Are you serious!!! He made Key plays & key runs and he sealed the game!! As for Coty Cummings he was a Bull out there Both of our backs had a field day on you guys "D"!!! & as far as foul play goes # 33 should have been ejected a long time ago we can tell you guys are not use to losing & dont like it which is understandable but he really needs to learn how to control his temper!!! We should have ranned sweep all night long you couldnt have stopped it!!! O yea one more thing,235 yards for Gilbert & thats not counting the one they called back so the final score should have been 35 to 20 plus two more points that they took away also, a quick recap if our secondary would have stepped up just like our Run Deffense did i dont think you guys woul have scored at all!! so im done with that topic(you guys are jokes no offense to k-ville players but this is towards the people thats on these blogs saying who wasnt the difference maker in the game!! ) lets talk about Athens!!!!
I can tell u guys aren't use to winning. Yall come to Wildcat country next year......remember that.
 19.
If Coldsprings plays like they did in the second half against Kirbyville I think a Barbay will be bringing home a state championship
Athens by 20
 20.
I am sure Kirbyville will be fine next year. (it also helps playing in a weak 5 team district that 3 teams qualify for the playoffs ;)) I will say that I was not too impressed with Kirbyville's JV and Freshmen teams. Each time I saw them this year, they got it handed to them fairly good. I honestly think they'll be fine next year, but after that, they will be rebuilding.
Kirbyville will be fine....i can promise you that. 7th and 8th grade have alot of talent as well. And for you saying weak district...cmon man. A weak district wasnt a big success to us getting to the playoffs this year and none of the of the previous playoffs berths.

I know they will, but this was the best group of seniors they've had during this run with Alvarez.
22.
I have no dog in this fight (pun intended) but just because a team loses out doesn't make them overrated. Does this mean that the team that wins state is the only team that isn't overrated? Kirbyville is the real deal. Great players and well coached. Let's not denounce an entire team of young men just because of a few posters on a message board. Their hard work and effort has made them a force to deal with. Great win Coldsprings.
Baddog you said a mouth full. Its hard for me to root for CS to go on to the championship with their fans getting on our site talking about we were "Overrated" and haven't played "noboby". This was CS first and ever win over the Wildcats other times its been a whooping in a old fashion way.
 23.
I will stick to my comment Kirbyville was a good team but over ranked!! I take nothing away from the Kats players great season!!! But to the ones that was on here talking all the smack about how bad you guy's was going to beat us & how it wasnt going to be a match for kirbyville, thats what i have a problem with!! Yea you suppose toi have faith in your team but you don't come on this board saying how bad you guys are going to beat us & if you were real smart maybe you should have looked at the stats from the first game you played us & knew that ( hey its going to be a good game & yes we might lose) so next time think before you put your mouth on the Coldspring Trojans!!! 4th round bound!!!
Like i said...you talk alot of smack. Kirbyville is a force to be reckoned with EVERY YEAR. I wouldn't be taunting or bragging too much. You guys are still on our schedule next year..... this could come back to haunt you if you know what i mean. Anyways CS executed a great game plan in the 2nd half. Thats what it takes to beat Kville, good luck in the 4th round.

 25.
All the trash talk about kirbyville beating Coldspring Trojans 45 to 14 & 35 to 21 saying it wouldnt be a match i told you with num #1(sherman Gilbert) on the field it would be at totally diff Game!!! I thnk you guys were highly over-rated team that haven't played nobody to stop you guy's running game sense the last time you played us all the hype about Ford you guys running back but he only had 65 yrds the whole game, but Gilbert on the other hand had 235!!! We should had beat you guys by way more not counting the last TD Gilbert scored that they called back in the two times we was on our goal line and couldn't score!!!  But please dont be sore losers come & watch us next week and wear your black & red with the Coldspring symbol!!! ha ha ha!!!
You talk alot of crap man....lets see what yall do next week. Anyways enjoy your first ever win over the Wildcats. We will be back next season  ;)
