  1. Dats not suprising, Ford can fly, just need to learn to quit fumbling so much.
  2. Lindsay not better than the sophmore RB of Kirbyville #20. This kid can fly, but doesn't get as many carries as Ford and Rhodes. Have you seen Lindsay play? Um duh.....Kirbyville played WOS this year. you talkin about #43 right?? If you are, he not a better athlete than #20 of Kirbyville.
  3. Kirbyville and Dangerfield awaits......watch out!!! Both Dangerfield and Kirbyville have stout defenses. Kinda Sensitive Aren't Ya? Nah, Kirbyville vs. Newton will be a solid match up. I've seen Newton play, Kirbyville defense is better and have more speed at the running back position. Newton Qb throw better than Kirbyville can't wait to see this.

  6. It a weird thing...Teams always seem to give a little extra when playing state ranked teams I agree, Kirbyville use to do that before becoming a ranked team every year. Those fumbles in every game are hurting us. No doubt Jasper have a solid team this year, but those fumbles had alot to do with our 31-22 loss after being up 22-7 at halftime. Against WOS we fumbled on the first play and at our own 10 yard line and they scored off it......thats crazy. Like I said before, district start we just had a bye, i'm lookin forward to seeing some changes made.
  7. That is what teams are suppose to do. Hey Steveary, I can bet you we will start peaking on offense as the season proceed. We have too much talent and great coaches not to.
  8. like the changes they made after the near wreck against Kirbyville? ;D wos is not the only team making adjustments. every good team continually makes adjustments as the season advances. bet Silsbee has made some also. bet Jasper has also. Oh they wrecked against Kirbyville, but the officials claim we were in the wrong! ;D ;D ;D
  9. Kirbyville is still dangerous no matter what people get on here and say. We lost two heartbreaker games to two solid opponents. Rest for sure Coach Alvarez been on their butts about the lacking on fundamentals such as the fumbles and blocking. Hardin Jefferson had a better team than would i've seen in the past. I don't think the Wildcats were expecting the Hawks to put up much of a fight, we weren't prepared and it showed.
  10. Sorry my friend you heard wrong, actually Kirbyville played Coldspring JV squad. Supposely Shelbyville doesn't have a JV team, they pulled this stunt last year and they had one. They end up playing some 1A team.
  11. You are right, can't wait to see this.
  12. You are correct.....Muleshoe prove that last year. they were ranked last year No, they weren't ranked in the top 25 at the begining of the season.
  13. I wouldn't be so sure about that. Anahuac can play some ball... Any average team can play some ball against some very weak teams. I'm not taking nothing away from Anahuac, they have some talented players, but until they beat Kirbyville they haven't played nobody. I can promise that will be something difficult for them to do. Our offense has been a lil out of sync since the start of the season because of the Qb situation and turnovers, but will start peaking weekly considering we got two stud players back. One of our players haven't played since the state game last year and the other missed two years. Good luck!!
  14. We will see who's the better team now that we have 2 key players back on the field.
  15. Enough about the schedule already, how 'bout some dang praise for routing the Hornets! If you had the chance to observe what's going on out on the field you would see that Anahuac is simply executing and winning the battle at the line - offense and defense. We all know that K'ville will be tough to beat, but there's no doubt our chances are better this year than last year. The Wildcats just don't have the same swagger about them and the Panthers are much improved. Time will tell! I understand you are a Panther fan to the heart, Kirbyville has alot of speed and their offense will start peaking this friday....bet that!! I agree that Anahuac has a good shot, but aint no doubt in my mind that Kirbyville will beat yall down once again because of the strengh of schedule. Anahuac hasn't played against a defense that is physical.
  16. You are correct.....Muleshoe prove that last year.
  17. Anahuac has a pretty good team, but who have they played???. Kirbyville has played much stronger competition than Anahuac and it will show when they meet in the second round. If they thought Kirbyville defense hit 'em in the mouth last year wait until we play this year. Good Luck!
  18. I have to go with Silsbee this year, after suffering 2 close loses, this would be a big win.
  19. Last year Shelbyville came to the Wildcat stadium with a 6-0 record and ran into the middle of our field stomping our Wildcat logo. This was the worst mistake, the Wildcats thumped the Dragons 63-6 and could have easily scored a hundred, Coach Alvarez decided to turn the "heat" off. The question is, what kind of team Shelbyville have this year? Last year they had some atheletic receivers.
  20. I hope so because Kirbyville is no Hardin.
  21. Yeah he is pretty fast, I think he run a 4.4. We had a #6 on our jv team but he broke his ankle playling against Jasper. He had some wheels also. He will be back next year, as a matter of fact our whole team will be back next year.
