This kid is the first 1A skilled player to ever get a full ride scholarship offer to the University of Texas. He stands 6'3 215 lbs and runs a 4.3 forty. Traylon scored 52 TD's last year. Traylon Shead is #2 in career rushing yards for the State of Texas, with 8,988 yards so far. Traylon is behind the great Kenny Hall from Sugarland who rushed for 11,232 yards from 1950-1953. There is talk of him starting for the Longhorns as a freshman next year. He is bad to the bone, and remember he is playing on a 1A team Cayuga. Check out this link, it will blow your mind. He destroys power house teams like Alto and many others all through the video !!! [Hidden Content]
Well, you got two things right. He's going to Texas and he's second all time in yards. There is absolutely zero talk about him starting at Texas as a freshmen by anybody with a brain. He runs a 4.5 at best. Only 4 players ran a sub 4.4 at last years NFL combine, and none of them were running backs. Just to give you a little perspective Jamaal Charles ran a 4.38 at the combine in 08. All that being said I'm a huge Horns fan and hope he does great at UT. And for the record, the best RB in texas is between Herschel Sims, Malcolm Brown, or Aaron Green.
Guess your Mack Brown there Mr. know it all !!! What a guy !!! LOL !!! Some Horns fan !! You don't know crap about my Horns or good talent, stick to tennis pal !!! LOL !!! ;D ;) :o
First of all it's you're not your. Secondly, if you really believe that he's the best back in Texas "hands down" then you might want to watch a little more film. Since they are "your horns" you would probably know that Lache was their #1 RB target this year. He's a great player, but the transition from 1A to major college football won't be easy that's why there's no talk of him starting as a freshmen. And lastly if you believe that he is a legit 4.3, then maybe you should "stick to tennis pal." Do you really believe he is as fast or faster than Jamaal Charles?

Vidor vs. Dayton Predictions?
Concerning Daytons linebackers, I just spoke with a buddy of mine who lives in Dayton and he was saying that there has been tremendous movement of players at the inside linebacker position I assume that the ex running back is one of the current starters and that the other is an offensive lineman that has been moved there . Now he wasn't certain but he thought that they had only been playing at these positions for the last 2-3 games. Is this true if so that is not much experience to think that you can stop a running attack like Vidor has. I bet that the coach has a couple of things that these boys haven't ever seen before at least on the defensive side of the ball. I still get back to the same question who have you beaten??
You guys haven't beaten a single team with a winning record. -

I'll take Jerry Stewart and since we're finishing the decade I'll take Jerry Stewart for coach of the decade.
I don't know all of Dayton's history but I think D. Pearson was certainly as good as Dugat and Green.
AJ is the best player to ever play in Dayton, but Cody and Dak are a tough argument for second -

BTW, Reagan was probably the worst team I've ever seen play, on a Friday night...so this score isn't indicative of how good LBJ is... Broncs win with a well conditioned team and out run them...
Mike Honcho, I saw you guys there in the press box. We were the two guys on the end to your right. And you're right, Reagan looked like the Bad News Bears. When Reagan's O Coordinator started yelling for the flea flicker I almost lost it.
I think we were actually to your right, we weren't in Bronco gear...but you're right...I was on stand-by for the Statue of Liberty at any minute!!
There was a guy in a Dayton hat along with another guy in the press box, but i guess that wasn't you guys.

Dayton at Galena Park predictions
downgoesfrazier replied to knightrider's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Frank may drop a few balls a game, but he is capable of getting behind just about any db. I just don't think he fits into Dayton's offense very well since they refuse to throw a pass over seven yards. I'd love to see them send Frank on a couple of go routes a game. -
How much authority does the school have

Hey mods, quit deleting my posts. And why don't you move this thread somewhere else like you do mine that don't directly deal with setx high school football. -
Dayton has always had talent. Stewart was just the first coach around here in a long while that knew what to do with it. Look at Dayton's record before Stewart and look at it since. Dayton's going on it's 14th playoff appearance (in 14 seasons) under Stewart. I think that speaks for itself. p.s. For the mid 90's Dayton guys(AC, Backflipper, etc..) what would have dayton's record been during the Sherman years with Stewart?

What do you expect them to do? Sprint off of the field as soon as the clock hits zero and act like nothing ever happened. Maybe we should quit keeping score that way no one has their feelings hurt. If you feel "disrespected" by high school kids being excited about winning, it's on you and not them.
