True Blue - Not sure I understand your logic about Hardin playing no defense so he gets the ball back quicker.  If they had a great defense wouldn't he also get the ball back pretty quickly (3 downs and a punt or TO)?

On the onsidebkick# 32 for bh ran forward and tried to catch the ball but got nailed and lost the ball and ned recovered.  Yes the ball only went 8 yrds, but it was touched first by a bh player.

Nederland was driving in wos territory late in the game.  I believe it was inside the 30 down by 4.  Nederland may not have scored but had t he opportunity taken away by an awful call.

Go back and read my post.  I said WOS should be ahead of Nederland, but not Kirbyville, Silsbee or Jasper.  Last year should have very little to do with this poll.  We all know that Nederland lost their starting QB against WOS last year and were down to their 4th string QB for most of the year.  Kirbyville losing to WOS by one point last year should have nothing to do with this. And as I also stated earlier, Silsbee will be a much different team this year as well.

Well since you asked.  I would put nederland at 8. Not ahead of wos or crosby but definitely ahead of silsbee, kirbyville and jasper.  Again, i want to know how the points work.  If they are basing the points off of last years record then ok.  But silsbee will be nowhere close to the team they were last year.

That's funny!!!  Nederland behind four 3A schools??  Silsbee being one of those??  Again laughable!!  I'm curious how the points work?

Drove by the Lamar today and saw a crew Pressure Washing the steps leading up to the Montagne Center.  That could only mean they are about to start on the side that faces the stadium, or at least I hope!

A lot has changed in band uniform designs in 21 years and a lot of thought went into the design of this uniform.

It's easy to make the statement " I've heard worse from Nederland announcers".  But could you be a little more specific.  What have you heard from Nederland announcers?
