Back-ups in for Crosby?????  You need to re-watch the game on this site and see they same secondary was in the entire game for Crosby.  They did use another RB on some play when #21 hurt his hammy, but come on BACK-UPS???

If Dayton is sooooo good with all of this playoff experience, then why did they get destroyed by Crosby 28-0?????

I don't think Lumberton shut down Grogan last year, he had 20 carries for 159 yds (7.95 yds/carry).  Hannah did have 34 for 342.  Had Nederland given the ball to Grogan 14 more times, which they should have, he would have had 270 (based on yards per carry).  Don't think that's shutting him down.

You are wrong Vidor 96!!!  Nederland was undefeated that year going into the WOS game.  Nederland and WOS were both ranked in the top 10 (maybe even top 5) going into that game.  Nederland finished the regular season at 9-1 with the one loss to WOS.

If you are going to count the bad snap on the punt then you have to count the band snap of one of our missed FG attempts.  Then we win by 3 instead of 2!!!!

Ok Spoonbill,  You must not have been to too many high school games.  The bands ALWAYS play while the opposing team is on offense.  ALWAYS!!!!!!  Some bands even play when their OWN TEAM  is on offense.  If this issue really bothers you so much, you need to pay more attention to when the bands are playing .  You will see just how wrong you are.  Go to the Band message board on this site and ask the question "Does your band play when the opposing team has the ball,?"  You will be surprised to see that all of them do!!! You must be thinking about College games where they can only play in between plays or timeouts.

I believe they are talking about being the 2nd best def in district based on POINT ALLOWED.  Not about total yardage, where Nederland would probably be towards the bottom.  However, I would rather give up more yards than points any day. Why take out the Central game?

Come on now Soulja, at this point in the season ,preseason predictions don't mean jack! Central is 3-0 in District and Nederland is 1-2. Don't even try and play like the Jags are the underdogs.

I'm a Nederland fan and I can't see how predicting a 21 pt. WOS win is a sign of disrespect towards Nederland. WOS won by 20 pts. last year. I personally think this years game will be closer with Ned possibly winning, but would not be totally shocked if WOS won by the same margin as last year.

Hey Friendswood, Going back 10 years, can you list the record (along with what sport) that Friendswood has against Nederland? Just curious.
