Anyone heard any info on the Navasota/Madisonville game from tonight? 

Don't remember the exact score, but HJ over HF by about 20, in a game that included two yellow cards, 3 pin falls, a suplex, 8 full nelsons, 6 head butts, 2 uppercuts, etc.....  The 3rd quarter looked like Australian rules football. Anyhow, good job Lady Hawks going 10-0 in district.

Heard Madisonville's point guard quit....??? If that is the case, I see Navasota beating them in the last game @ Navasota.....  If so, There will be a playoff  for seeds.... flip coins... odd man out gets bye... 1st two play... winner plays the team that got the bye...

did you get scores from those districts for tonight..... Madisonville still plays Rudder and Navasota... and Splendora/Coldspring/Tarkington still have to have some things fall their way...

If the UCA attacked the basket more, it is not......  The lady cards rely on jumpshots alot of the time....  If you don't give the other guys a chance to foul you, it is hard to complain... The fouls and FT's don't always have to be equal.... nor should refs try and make them equal... Tidwell will have em ready for the next one!

Back in 1995-1996, Deer Park and Laporte were seperated.....  They moved Deer Park out of the distrtict that was.... PA Jefferson Vidor Westbrook Central Deer Park baytown Lee Baytown Sterling LaPorte the district they moved to was, Deer Park Rayburn Pasadena Dobie SouthHouston Northshore Absolutely made it easier.... however, they were always 1 and done in the playoffs at almost every sport...

much better for the top 2 21-3A teams as far as playoff draws go..... Alot harder road for the 3rd place team...

My prediction is that district 21-3A will go 3-3 on Friday...... anyone wanna bet????  ;D

What led to this?  While I am not condoning the punch AT ALL!!!  There has to be more to it then her just deciding to punch someone after the game....  Was there an exchange between the two during the game that led to it??

Since no one from HF will say it, I will..... Did HF have a chance to have a shoot around before the game or did they have to wait for the football team to do shuttle run tests in the gym?..... Untill other sports have equal footing with volleyball and football at HF things will never change...  Yes Dove, that includes the class of 2012 as well.....

foul count ended pretty even.... around 18 per team or so..... Lot of contact......  HJ played pretty good defense tonight.....

It all depends on matchups, officials, etc......  Our district is alot "scrappier" than in years past

Didn't realize Silsbee is losing 6..... I believe they only had 6 on their JV....

For those wondering what all the freethrow drama was about at the game... On the 10th team foul... 1and 1 was awarded....BC rebounded the first miss and went down and shot...HJ rebounded and pointed out the error.  The refs awarded the second freethrow, but then gave BC the ball.  Since HJ had the ball when the error was noticed the second freethrow should have been shot and the ball should still have been HJ's....  HJ stole the inbounds anyway so it didnt matter.... This is from the rule book... SITUATION 8: A1 is fouled. Team A is awarded the ball out of bounds. The foul was Team B’s seventh team foul and A1 should have been awarded a one-and-one bonus. Team A scores on the ensuing throw-in. As the ball passes through the net, the officials are informed of the error. RULING: The error is discovered within the correctable-error timeframe. Count the goal by A; A1 will be awarded the bonus with no players along the lane lines. There has been a change of possession and [b]the point of interruption i[/b]s the goal by Team A; therefore, Team B will be awarded a throw-in anywhere along the end line. (2-10- 1a; 2-10-5)
