too many if's here..... alot can happen in 3 games....WOS certainly helped themselves tonight.

You play 18 holes in the summer (no cart) and see what it takes to play at that high of a level.... (I still think it should not be against the rules to distract your opponent when he is shooting.... That would be fun as heck to watch on tv!)

The only thing I have seen is that Coach Janet Davis will take over at HJ ... Also, there a a thsca job post that OF is looking for a new assistant.

i know the 3rd baseman had 3...... Here is my take with umps, officials, etc. From the first pitch of the game, it was apparant that there was going to be a big strike zone... It is the hitters job to adjust.... period. I think 11 or 12 hits would be an exaggeration.....

Umps were shaky, but both team had way too many errors. Umpires do not bat or field the ball. HJ needs to shape up in the field to have a chance.... and yes.... at 0-3 they still have a chance. Means pitched well for his 2nd straight district appearance. (I believe he had 15 K's in 6 innings.)

We actually had 5 seniors from last year who are playing college ball... Rodgers, Ricossa, Monse, Roebuck, Lundy

why was this not done by position? It's kinda like putting all running backs or all pitchers on an all star team. There are some really talented post players left off this 1st team.

My way of looking at it is..... If you didn't hold up the trophy in Austin, your season was a dissapointment. If you are proud, etc of not winning it all, then maybe you goals need to be set a little higher. (Once you have won a few, anything but winning it again doesn't cut it)

if you look at the pitching in this district vs. the past 2, there is no comparason.... Also, BC is not as good as they were the past 2 seasons. (They do not hit near as well)

No offense to OF or HF, but BC, HJ and Silsbee are way down this year... I don't think that either of those teams is great, just a result of other teams being down.

Will you say the same about this game too? besides HF, who has OF beaten that is a "quality" team? just stating my opinion..... and why not, I'll go ahead and say it about this game too.

I say HF wins this one..... Of has a nice record, but alot if not all of those wins are against weaker teams...

honestly, both hj and orangefield we not deserving to be a "top 20" team. Each got handled in the 2nd round by clearly better teams. The work now begins for next year, as alot of region 3 teams were very young....
