It seems to be forgotten that maybe the reason a team plays poorly has something to do with the team playing them... Sure I always want to play well, but your opponents sometime dictate how that goes. I don't buy (and never have) the "mentally prepared" argument. High School Athletes are ready to play when they start the game... ... "WE came out flat", "Our shots weren't falling", "The refs did......" All of these are covers for saying we got outplayed.

K-Park has everyone returning though....... For our game it was HJ - 70 something BC - 20 something 5 or 6 HJ player in double figures....

I don't see Evadale beating alot of these teams they are ahead of.... No fault of Evadales though... they can only play the people on their schedule.... Good Luck to all these teams as the playoffs near.

Again.... the poll that matters is the one at the end..... I feel pretty good that this will all be corrected when all is said and done.

Not funny, just preparation...... heck, I have seen or seen tape of anyone we may play for the first three rounds.... Whether we finish 1st, 2nd or third.... It doesn;t EVER hurt to be prepared..... The real season is about to start....... I know our district will be ready!

this thread is kinda silly..... you guys are putting the cart before the horse with predictions on a game that isn't even set....... they haven't played HJ.... so until that happens.... who cares.... if they do play.... it won't matter what the result is..... the playoffs are the only thing that matters.

Silsbee did a good job moving the ball.....got open looks and hit the boards hard.....the hawk bench is going to need to step it up from here on out...

Brooks is keeping the AD title? seems like it would be tough to get an experienced guy without the extra "AD" pay added in....

I don't think they would be able to handle a team from a larger classification that won their district.... I don't mean that as a shot at Evadale but you are comparing apples to oranges....

Silsbee, HF, WOS, BC, Ozen, WB, EC, Kelly, etc...... Do you guys really have nothing to say about your teams? There has been more activity on the boys board in the past few days about a donkey basketball game than all the girls games combined.

If the game could have been 225-0 (which it could have....) (it was 25-0 3 minutes into the game...) doesn't the score of 100-0 seem to show that he did pull the dogs off? What is forgotten in this story ws that in the second half there was a running clock, they played a 2-3 zone after the 1st quarter.... Is he supposed to tell his team to sit down on the floor so the other team can score? That would be more embarrassing than the 100-0 score.... I hate that our society praises failure so much! Everyone always has to have a reason or excuse as to why they failed.... If there is not an excuse readily available, then someone else must be to blame. I don't see a restaurant getting criticized when no one else goes to a competing restaurant and it closes down.... What if someone wins an election 100% to 0%??? does the winner have to forfeit because the other person didn't get a vote? Superbowl ads should cost as much as commercials on PBS! It isn't fair that everyone is watching the superbowl and no that great show about knitting.... This whole situation is sad and stupid! If you are that bad, don't play.... If you still really want to play, then play at the YMCA or in your driveway. now, off my soapbox.
