HJ - 32 HF - 12 Game was a combined 9th / JV game.... good job hawks!

Jasper ended the season well.... .good luck to the lady bulldogs this year....

Orangefield has fans..... they are just at the girl's games..... not being rude, but their girls program has alot of backing...

Easy now.... Dan Ray did not run the score up... HE actually kept it from being much much worse....

So much for HIPPA laws..... haha

1. They did not dominate the stats versus HJ. 2. The only questionable calls were the two touchdowns HJ had called back due to flags...

HJ is a different team from week zero till now.....

HJ 9th - 28 Orangefield 9th - 20 HJ JV - 46 Orangefield JV -30 HAwks were rolling..... 2 TD's late by OF.. GOOD JOB HAWKS.... FINISH THE JOB TOMORROW!

Congrats Jacoby...... Michaels from WB will have an outstanding college career where ever he chooses to go... He is truly a man playing among boys so far.

When you begin, you begin with a committment to your teammates, your school and yourself.... Letting down your teammates because it is not "fun" anymore is a lame reason. Marriage, jobs, etc.... what happens later in life when things arent all rosy???

HJ had a 50+ yard run called back late in the 4th with the score 33-28.... it was a game breaker and put HJ back inside their own 20.... Great effort Hawks... game was much closer than the final indicated... Newton will be fine.... they get better as the season goes..... Now district starts.

What mistakes did Darrell make? HJ played well in the 2nd half.

For those of you that think Coach Brooks (or any coach for that matter) are doing a poor job... here is a suggestion.... Get your resume.... go to a school board meeting and submit it.... then you do it! Coaches do not go to your job and tell you all the things you are doing wrong.. Most work 12-14 hour days including weekends to do everything they can to put their kids and teams in the best position to be successful. For people not involved in any of the preparation to question the results is not only unfair, but ridiculous. This thread is insulting and I have nothing to do with Jasper!

We also now have not one, not two but THREE convenience stores and TWO feed stores!!! Movin on up!!!

I think his post is the same as my thoghts.... Granted, the short timing made it difficult, but because of where we live, each house should have supplies ready for when something like this happens. As adults, most of us have the ability to plan for ourselves and not insist that the government do it for us... The bridge city area is a little different as is bolivar. Citizens who stayed were told to have supplies for up to 10 days... It is not even 10 days yet, but people were already griping at FEMA 1 and 2 days after the storm... In times like this, individuals need to be able to rely on themselves rather than any governmental body... or they will be severly dissapointed.
