Coaching is never a lose-lose situation unless you let it be. I have gone to work excited and smiling for 7 years.... how many other professions can say that? Picks are picks people..... sometimes they are right, sometimes they are wrong... that is life.

Dicky V - I was at Kelly during that time.... contrary to what people say, we never went to a kid and asked him to come to Kelly. Period. You will not win this argument with me. J'Covan came to Kelly because his older brother was there and his parents loved it! I am not saying that Ozen does this, because I don't think they have to.... Their athletic program does all the talking for itself.... just as Kelly's academic program does all the talking. 99% of kids at Kelly go to college.... I would want my kid at a school like that.... athletics would come second. You seem too bitter all the time..... sit back and enjoy life... haha

Here they come, just as I expected...the haters and excuses and what ifs...I have said it before IF your grandma had b%^^s, the she would be your GRANDPA! Kids have choices EVERYWHERE..And by the way Rosenburg (Lamar Cons.) has more than one school AND the Fort Bend ISD is right next door...They HAVE choices too..DeCarlos is at Ozen because he and his folks want him at Ozen..No other reason...build it, and they will come. Thats the name of the game. period, end of discussion. oh yeah......chuuuuch! DickyV- wouldn't this quote apply to Kelly? You always dog them for recruiting.... but they have never gone looking for players... the players came to them. Don't be a hypocrite... On a side note, if I was a kid in this area I would LOVE to play for Boutee!! What a guy!

I agree about Kendra Wright.... I like the way she plays.... GREAT POST CARDFAN..... (we do get bashed when we win though.... playing time always seems to creep its way into a conversation!)

relax guys..... it is just " a patch on a letter jacket" Everyone on here roots for their team.... Every year, this stirs up the same argument and it always will.....It seems like the ones acting like the adults are the kids!

if you don't care, don't post messages on this thread.... It is not their fault there are 3 teams in the district. As I recall that district did pretty well against teams from this area... Kountze, HJ, etc.

Being that he is a coach, I would say it went down as a hit... lets leave it at that... Great job Hawks! Keep it up!

They had better rebound more consistently and shoot better from the foul line if they hope to repeat. This game will be a big test of those two things! GO HAWKS!

They are playing well right now, but they really struggled at the beginning of the year.

Kelly beat San Antonio Antonian to advance to the state tournament. Great job Coach Knowles... He has done a FANTASTIC job molding the bulldogs this year!

Fair field is athletic... full court man to man... if hj can take care of the ball they will do fine. They have a guard who has not met a shot she doesn't like. Rebounding and taking care of the ball will win this game.

now sitting at 29-5! I can't say enough about how fun this season has been. The girl's have been a blast to work with everyday. They are a fun group of fierce competitors. (9th , JV and Varsity) A big thank you to all of our Parents, administrators and fans who have been SO supportive all year. Lets keep this thing rolling and take Huntsville by storm. -Coach Fogo

A lot of Kelly ties in this game: Ryan Donica and Jason Henry at HD and Jay Bruce at Slocum.... All three great friends of mine. My prediction is neutral! I hope they tie. -Fogo

Again... that is why nuetral refs are important. Each is chosen by a school and it is VERY HARD to not get biased calls due to a number of factors.

I am sad to see Chavis end on that note: However, I played for Coach Means at Deer Park and he works his tail off to put his teams in the best position possible to win games. He has taken an average team to a 27-6 record.. The cheap shot comment is off the mark.. He doesn't stand for that kinda stuff! Trust me, he ran me almost daily for stuff like that!
