HJ 9th - 22 Hull-Daisetta JV - 18 Good game by both teams. HJ's passing game looked good, and the defense cause a few big turnovers.

All I know is that the line coach at HD has a pretty cool tv in his living room and his wife can cook like no one i've ever seen. I say HD by a bunch! And by the way, Bond..... Notre Dame needs to go D3 in football!

being athletic helps with this style of play... but it is not essential. Neil Laminack (who played at HJ in the early 90's) coaches a team in Houston (St. Thomas) They play in a similar manner, and as a team are pretty slow. They have a decent big man and can shoot. What they lack in athleticism, they make up for in hustle and "knowing the game" and playing well together. If every one knows their role and the team performs their roles together, it doesn't matter what "system" you are running. That brings me to coaching.... Being a good coach is not about having a good system. A good coach gets his kids to buy into the system and gets the most out of his players in their particular roles.....

Nederland is on the block schedule correct???? If that is so, then they have an hour and a half everyother day.... That means that Nederland kids are in athletics the same amount of time as everyone else. If you are going to give a story... give both sides.

95% of you guys DO support the various teams. People have a problem with the 5% who say things that are out of line directed at other players and coaches. That type of stuff is classless, and embarrasing! Support = to bring your team up this is different than trying to tear someone else down!

Not a good idea..... and here is why..... By allowing this, the next step will be for private schools to apply for state funding. Also, the recruiting wars will begin. Ask any coach in LA and they will tell you!

Grow up people..... HJ won because they pitched better, and hit better. The fan support was great, but there are a few people who say retarded things. Please don't label all the HJ fans based on a fews actions.

To BC: I am a coach at HJ and if this type of crud is going on, it will be stopped. Being in the dugout and worrying about the game is my concern. I appologize on behalf of most of HJ who are not idiots.
