What were the results of this one?

As a coach, all you can do is 1.go to tournaments that allot enough time between games where they arent rushed. 2. Play against quality teams that “know how to play” so that the games dont resemble rugby bu players that are unskilled. 3. Teach kids how to negate that type of contact so that it does not become an issue. Been there, done that... I fee your pain, but do t necessarily put it at the officials feet. People that put on tournaments need three man crews, but alot of coaches use tournaments as fundraisers instead of a chance to compete and dont want to pay the extra money.

Nice to see them get some recognition!! Should run the table and have a good draw for the first 3 rounds as well... probably clear lake school in 2nd round then a good test vs summer creek to go to the regional tourney...

Silsbee got a tough draw in round 2. Glen Rose is very solid and plays great halfcourt man.. They lost some key pieces from last year, but are very well coached and good at what they do.

Hj has played: 6a #2 jersey village 6a #5 at the time summer creek 5a #22 boswell atascocita, dobie, and a slew of other high caliber teams. Have absolutely crushed everyone local... why would they not?

Had the honor and privilege of working with Klinger for years. He is top notch all the way around. Congrats to him and all the others.

Lady Hawks win 100-29. Lady Hawks travel to Westbrook tomorrow to take on the Lady Bruins. 9th at 4, JV at 5:30, Varsity at 7. Touching tribute by current and former players before the game for Alix Neel, a graduate from last years team who tragically lost her life in September...

HJ wins 88-38. Lady Hawks hit 15 threes in this one. HJ now 5-1. Next game is vs East Chambers at Home On Monday.

Well run tournament with some amazing talent! The twin guards from Jersey Village are two of the smoothest I have seen in a long while! Big Post Player from Lufkin and Summer Creek were dominant and the guards from Desoto were like hyenas... For us to go 2-1 against these type of teams says alot for the work our girls have put in. Lots more to improve, but a god start for the Lady Hawks. Today was the 4th top 25 6a team HJ has played in the past 2 weeks.

Followed by the Baytown tournament.. (Dobie, Lufkin, 6a#8 Jersey Village, 6a#4 Summer Creek, Lake Travis, Davis and 6a #13 Desoto)
