I was looking this morning and one service has it making landfall just west of Sabine Pass. However, it also stated that if the storm does not stay over Cuba as long, It could shift the trank to the NE.

NOAA and another weather service that handles the offshore arena both have the projection towards New Orleans. I hope accuweather is way wrong.

CATMAN, Help me out here. I believe that was in the late 80's(do not remember the exact year). BS played Paducah and lost. They did have the dubious honor of having the record for highest aggregate score in a championship game. BS never quit. They continued to played even until the end. The thing that sticks out from that game in my mind is that Paducah wanted the record and the fans at the erwin center booed Paducah for the lack of class. Big Sandy has always been a class act win or lose. Best of luck to Big Sandy and Coach Foster. 1988. Paducah and Will Flemons were tough. Won it in 87 as well. I knew that I was in HS at the time. My dad was a HS BB coach and we went every year to the tourney. I remember that Paducah was good. THanks for the year.

Did Bunas big tackle sign with anybody?

This was off of KSHN for weds: 58 Prospects: 58 people have applied to be the next Liberty High School Athletic Director and Head Football Coach. Trustees met Tuesday night to begin reviewing the applications, and will now select a much smaller group for personal interviews. Those interviews will be next Monday and Tuesday. If someone really wanted to know, they could submit for open records.

DickVitale is right. The coaches probably will not allow it. At that level, I would not. The pressure to win is too great to lose a player to injury in another sport. The offseason is too important to the development of an athlete. Also, going from FB to BB, If you make a bowl game you miss over two months of basketball. Just my $.02

Some of us have to look to next year. Congrats to those who have made or will make the playoffs. Lets do a little speculation, how do you see next season shaping up? EC loses Tramain and MacDonald, Hardin loses Marsh. Deweyville, Anahuac, Buna and Warren are losing seniors. Kountze was young. So what do you think?

I am sorry that they are gone. It really made district a challenge with them in there. You had to bring your best or get blown out.

Any FB staff that scouts knows who the starters are of their opponents. The FB that got hurt, got hurt running up the middle. That injury could happen to anybody between the tackles.
